Estoril Casino is located 15 km from the center of Lisbon and has been a favorite vacation spot not only for locals, but also for Estoril guests for over 40 years.
Estoril is a region and town in Portugal, which is located on the shores of the Cascais Bay. Estoril Casino is considered the largest casino in Europe. There is an assumption that during the Second World War there were many spy agents in Estoril, as well as military adventures were organized. It is known that this casino was a favorite place for the writer Ian Fleming, an English writer and journalist who is the author of James Bond novels. It was after visiting this casino that Ian Fleming got the idea to write the first book about James Bond called Casino Royale.
