Description of the attraction
Abrau Dyurso is a small resort village on the Black Sea coast, named after the Dyurso River, the source of which is a small lake hidden from prying eyes by high mountains. The Durso River flows through the valley, between two mountain ranges. In this valley, closer to the sea, there are houses and hotels, and in the depths there are plantations planted with vineyards. It is from this grape that the famous all over Russia brand of champagne is made - Abrau Durso. And there is a factory for the production of champagne of this brand and a small museum.
The cognitive and tasting excursion acquaints tourists with the history and modernity of viticulture and winemaking on the Black Sea coast. In the old cellars and tunnels, built in the 19th century, you can witness the unique process of making champagne, the secrets of which have been passed down from generation to generation by the master-winemakers of the plant since 1887. Tastings are held.
