The capital of Sweden is interesting for tourists for the opportunity to see architectural monuments and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages in the historical center of Gamla Stan, attend events organized as part of national and international festivals (for example, a jazz and rock festival), plunge into the world of Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales.

Stockholm City Hall

The City Hall, the symbol of Stockholm, is the venue for the post-Nobel Prize banquet. Tourists are interested in it for its museum (famous for busts and statues, among which the 7, 5-meter statue of St. kitchen), a souvenir shop, an observation deck at an altitude of more than 100 m (having climbed here, overcoming more than 300 steps, visitors - participants in a group excursion, admire the beauty of Stockholm).

Museum-ship "Vasa"

Visitors can not only admire the ship of the 17th century, looking at the carvings on the hull and other details, but also visit the restaurant, 9 exhibitions, and buy souvenirs in the corresponding shop.

Royal Palace

In the palace (where official receptions are held) there are more than 600 rooms where you can see tapestries and antique porcelain. Guests will be interested in the “3 Crowns” Museum (to learn the medieval history of this place will allow inspecting the museum exposition), the Armory (you will be able to admire the royal outfits, uniforms of Charles XII and Gustav II Adolf, military armor), the Royal Treasury (visitors will be offered to admire the royal regalia in the form of crowns and other symbols of power), a museum of antiquity (marble statues brought from Italy by Gustav III are subject to inspection). In addition, every day at noon (on Sunday at 13:15), guests will be able to see the solemn changing of the guard, accompanied by the play of a brass band.

Globe Arena

The 85-meter building hosts sports events, concerts, and the Eurovision Song Contest. Those wishing to see Stockholm with its islands will be offered to “experience” the “SkyView” attraction - they will have a 20-minute “ride” in a glass gondola that moves along the wall of the Globe Arena (an ascent to a 130-meter height is possible; you can take photos and shoot for free video; cost - 145 CZK). And those who plan to celebrate an important event while driving can be offered to take on board champagne, which will cost at least 400 CZK / 1 bottle.
