Description of the attraction
Pedestrian walking street Krupówki is one of the five most famous streets in Poland. Its length is about a kilometer, it stretches towards Gubalowka. To visit Zakopane and not feel the beating of her pulse is unthinkable. Here, for a couple of coins, clowns will laugh, mimes will show a funny miniature, street musicians will play, and guys in bandanas will depict a futuristic graffiti landscape on a piece of cardboard. Wonderful works of portrait painters, interesting, unusual and tasty products of local merchants, an abundance of tourists of various nationalities create an atmosphere of harmony of turmoil and peace of mind. Perhaps it is this unusual combination that creates its unique character and flavor. Here are some of Zakopane's best hotels, shops, cafeterias and restaurants. There is a lift to the Gubalowka Mountain right next to the street market.
Undoubtedly, tourists will be attracted by the national products of the Tatras - delicious Bunz and Oscilok cheeses, as well as woolen sweaters, fur coats and blankets, bast shoes, leather slippers, wooden kitchen utensils, dressed sheep skins, souvenirs and many other products of numerous local shopkeepers.
Tired, it will be pleasant to ride in a horse-drawn carriage. On a parallel street flow picturesque streams Bystra, Black Stream, White Stream, which turn into raging streams, overflowing after showers.
Just one day a year you can observe an unusual picture - flocks of sheep, herded into the mountains for summer pastures, pass along Krupówka.
