The districts of Wroclaw, according to the map, divide the capital of Lower Silesia into five parts: these districts have been given the following names - Srodmiescie, Stare Miasto, Krzyki, Fabrychnaya, Przy Pole.

Description of the main districts of Wroclaw

  • Old Town: its main attractions are the Racławice panorama (presented in the form of an artistic canvas depicting a battle), the Church of St. Mary Magdalene (in this Gothic church you can admire relief motifs in the form of griffins and scenes from the childhood of Jesus Christ; beautiful photographs, it will cost PLN 5), Market Square (it has sheltered the City Hall with an astronomical clock, a museum and a restaurant "Pivnica widnicka"), Bohdan's fountain (this glass structure was installed in honor of the first Polish president), Shopping arcade (guests are invited to buy the necessary goods), the house of Yas (known for its art workshop) and Malgosi (has a museum of gnomes), the Church of St. baroque), the Cathedral of John the Baptist (13th century; the height of the spiers is almost 100 m; it is worth paying attention to the portico with the image of the Romanesque lion).
  • Kshiki: as part of the excursion programs, those who wish will be offered to go to the Soviet Officers' cemetery (the main entrance will meet visitors with 2 cannons, and 2 side entrances with 4 tanks).

On vacation in Wroclaw, it is recommended to visit the Royal Palace (it has a museum with 4 expositions; after visiting, guests will be invited to a baroque garden, where you can relax with a cup of coffee), a zoo (more than 7000 animals live on the territory of this green corner, and House of Butterflies, House of Monkeys, Afrikarium, dedicated to the aquatic world of the African continent), the building of the Old City Prison (the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology is located here, and the pub “Pracoffnia” is located in the basement; you can still see inscriptions carved by prisoners on the walls; next to the prison is worth finding a little gnome, pulling a metal core).
