Antalya, like the capital of Turkey, annually attracts hundreds of thousands of travelers, as conditions have been created here for a combination of different types of recreation - in Antalya you can explore ships in the port, admire the local landscapes, wander through the old streets, while away the nights in clubs, and look at urban architecture.
Yivli Minaret
The minaret is one of the Antalya symbols, more than 30 m high, installed on a square base and consists of 8 half-cylinders, which are decorated with brick-tiled mosaics. It is worth noting that inside there is a spiral staircase of 90 steps (there were 99 steps before - they symbolized the names of Allah), which leads to the balcony, and on the floor you can see the sayings of Muhammad, painted with blue and turquoise paint. Guests will also be invited to visit the Ethnographic Museum, where they will be able to admire decorations, tapestries, kitchen utensils, clothes, weaving looms and other exhibits.
Hadrian's gate
The decoration of the gate (previously they were two-story; there is an assumption that there was a statue of Emperor Hadrian and members of his family at the top) are marble columns, and on both sides of them are the North and South towers. Tourists who believe in legends should make a wish and walk under three arches - they say it must come true. It is worth noting that the gate will lead you to Old Antalya, and not far from them you will find a park - an ideal place to relax.
Clock tower of Saat-Kulesi
Tourists are offered to walk not only near the tower (the 14-meter structure consists of a lower and upper tier, the upper one is decorated with a clock), but also to visit it on regular excursions (they will tell about the history of the tower).
Oceanarium Antalya Aquarium
The Oceanarium is interesting for guests with opportunities for educational and entertaining recreation. They will be able to spend time in restaurants, a cinema, play areas for children and a paintball playground, an outdoor pool (guests are accompanied by seals and harmless sharks), the Snow World zone (you can make a snowman or ride a sled from snow slides). In addition, 36 thematic zones allow guests to “meet” 20,000 species of fish and other inhabitants of rivers, seas and oceans.
Antalya Expo Tower
This building (exhibition center), which is planned to be built by 2016 in the Aksu microdistrict, with a height of almost 100 m, will become a new symbol of Antalya. It will have observation terraces (closed and semi-closed premises) and an open observation deck, from where a 360˚ all-round view will open, allowing you to view the panorama of the city.
