A trip to Argentina will give you a great beach holiday and the beauty of the mountain peaks. In addition to the amazingly beautiful nature, the country is no less interesting in terms of "excursions", since many colonial-style buildings have survived on the territory of Argentina.
Public transport
"Subway" is only in Buenos Aires, the capital of the country. By the way, it was the local metro that was built in Latin America one of the very first. Metro cars practically do not differ from their European counterparts: they are just as cramped. The stations are completely of the same type, but they are well maintained.
It is much more convenient to get around the city by buses, which travel very quickly. Buses make a stop only on demand, or when the driver sees that there are people at the bus stop. Trolleybuses can be found only in one of the cities - Rosario.
Taxi
This is the most popular form of public transport. Taxis are used to travel both along the streets of cities, and as transport for traveling between them. The main difference between the cars is the presence of a yellow roof.
Taxis are especially used by locals as they are very convenient. All taxis are equipped with meters and fares are affordable. In addition, there are practically no traffic jams in the cities of the country, and therefore you can get to the desired point very quickly.
Railway connection
The length of the railway lines is 34 thousand kilometers. The road condition is poor. In addition, railways are unevenly distributed throughout the country. The use of tracks is also complicated by the uneven track. Therefore, trains in the country are mainly used to transport goods.
Passenger traffic accounts for a very small share. Trains are in satisfactory condition, but one should not expect high speeds and increased comfort during the journey.
Air traffic
Since the distances between the main resort regions of the country are quite significant, the main way to travel around the country is by air. The country's main carrier is Aerolineas Argentinas.
There are 1300 airports in Argentina, but the main air hub (Ezeiza airport) is located in the country's capital. In addition to it, there are nine more smaller airport complexes in Buenos Aires.
Water transport
In total, Argentina has 7 large ports and about 30 smaller ones. Buenos Aires itself is the largest port in Latin America, through which approximately 80% of all sea traffic passes.
There are two navigable rivers: Parana and Uruguay. The total length of navigable routes is 3000 kilometers.
