- Where should you not go?
Recently, families with children have increasingly chosen Thailand as a country for recreation. Low prices, a large number of sunny days, fun rides, zoos and aquariums, gentle sea and clean beaches, the availability of shops with food suitable for babies and a high level of service in hotels - Thailand has something to surprise its customers traveling with children. The question of where in Thailand is better to relax with children worries many parents. Let's figure it out.
Thailand for kids
All year round in Thailand, the air temperature is kept at around 28-32 degrees, and the water in the sea warms up to 28 degrees Celsius. Many resort towns of this country are great for families with children. Local shopping centers have everything a child may need: baby food, diapers, clothes, strollers, beach accessories. It is easy to find the medicines you need in pharmacies. Large hotel states usually have a doctor and a nurse. There are also children's rooms in hotels, where you can leave your child for several hours without fear.
The beach resorts offer a variety of activities for the little ones. There are water parks, playgrounds, swimming pools, bird and butterfly parks and much more. And just breathing fresh clean air, swimming in the calm sea, eating healthy fruits and vegetables is good for the health of a child of any age.
Perfect Phuket
Phuket is the best choice for families with children. There is a direct flight connection between it and the major cities of Russia, which means that the time spent on the road to Thailand will be minimized.
There should be no difficulties with accommodation in Phuket: hotels for every taste and budget are presented here. Local beaches are also good: clean and wide. The disadvantage of a vacation in Phuket, and even then in the low season, can be a stormy sea off the coast. Swimming in it at this time is dangerous. But even such difficult natural conditions will not be able to interfere with a wonderful rest, because this time can be devoted to children and take them on informative and interesting excursions. A trip to the local zoo, which is located in the Chalong area, will be remembered for a long time. It covers an area of 5 hectares. Despite its small size, the zoo is home to many animals. The main entertainment in the zoo is a variety of shows with the participation of crocodiles, elephants, monkeys.
Older children will love a visit to the Museum of Optical Illusions, the exhibits of which are created in 3D technique, and so realistic that soon the line between reality and illusion in the exhibition halls will completely disappear.
Koh Samui for toddlers
Koh Samui is a great choice for a family vacation. Getting to it will not be as easy as to Phuket: you will have to fly with one connection. But Samui airport is just a stone's throw from the most popular hotel complexes. And the sea on Koh Samui is quiet and calm even in the rainy season.
There is a lot of entertainment on the island:
- aquarium and zoo of tigers, which are located at Laem Set beach. At lunchtime, there is a unique show featuring sea lions, monkeys, birds and striped predators;
- Butterfly Garden, whose inhabitants flutter between vibrant tropical flowers;
- Park "Paradise" - a farm where shy deer, cute ponies, affectionate rabbits and some other animals that can be fed, stroked, squeezed, etc; live practically in the wild;
- Coco Splash Adventure and Waterpark at Lamai Beach. There is a small zoo next to the water attractions.
Where should you not go?
There are also places in Thailand that are not suitable for small children. For example, gas-polluted Bangkok or too noisy Pattaya are not the best places for families with children.
When planning a trip with kids, you need to think not only about acceptable living conditions, but also about an easy road. It becomes clear that a long flight, a transfer in Bangkok, another flight, and then a boat trip to the selected island will be difficult even for an adult, let alone a small child. Therefore, when planning a trip to Thailand with children, you need to avoid remote islands where it is difficult to get to, for example, Phangan.
The infrastructure you need may not be available on small, secluded islands. It is useless to look for large shopping malls, hospitals and pharmacies in Kuda, Mak, Phi Phi, Samet and some other islands.
