Description of the attraction

Each city has a Victory Park and each of them is unique and unrepeatable in its own way - with its own architecture, layout and museum of military equipment of the war years. In Orenburg, the entire park is arranged in the form of a kilometer-long boulevard alley, turning into a green massif with a unique landscape design solution. Created in 1976-1980, the first part of the park is a recreation area with coniferous and deciduous trees, the second part of the heart of the green massif of Orenburg is intended for walking and outdoor activities and was formed in 1981-1985. The central square of the park is decorated with the Victory Monument with an eternal flame, and all the paths (like the rays of the sun) originate from it. Each path ends with a node dedicated to a specific topic: Kursk Bulge, the defense of Stalingrad, Moscow, etc. The creator of the unique landscape architecture and the author of the Victory Park project was P. A. Anischenko.

The museum complex "Salute, Victory!" Is located in the park area. with exhibits of military equipment and an exposition dedicated to home front workers. Also on Prospekt Pobedy there is an Alley of Memory with memorial plates on which the names of the Orenburg participants of the Great Patriotic War are carved. Among the many sculptures in the park, the expressive composition "Come back with victory" deserves special attention. The recreation area has four original fountains and many comfortable benches.

The Orenburg Victory Park is a combination of a military history museum and a picturesque recreation area with elements of landscape art.
