  • Where to go in March without a visa?

Celebrating spring with the best vacation in the world - why not? When there is still snow in Moscow and the cities closest to it, and one can only dream of a thaw, it is hard to believe that there are places on the globe where summer has never ended.

The lucky ones who get there will enjoy wide endless beaches all year round, on which tall palm trees cast graceful shadows, and an endless turquoise or piercing blue sea - calm and gentle or noisy, with waves suitable for surfing, with coral reefs, where you can hang out for hours with a mask and fins.

Discover in March the beach expanses of mysterious Vietnam, hospitable Dominican Republic, cheerful Goa, luxurious Maldives, democratic Egypt, carefree Thailand. At the beginning of spring, excellent sunny weather sets in here, suitable for relaxation at the edge of the surf. Even if you have been to these countries more than once, you will still find something new and unknown in them - a secluded bay, a wonderful dive site, a pleasant cafe.

Do you want the winter to continue? Then your choice in March is the snow-capped mountains, where the ski season continues. In March, skiers are expected in the Sierra Nevada, Dolomites, Tatras, in the Turkish Uludag and even in Israel, on Mount Hermon.

Europe in March is ideal for sightseeing trips. School holidays fall in March, when the streets of European cities can be very noisy. But the rest of the time, the same Brussels, Valencia and other large historical cities again plunge into lazy bliss in the absence of an influx of tourists.

Do not forget about educational tours to other, non-European countries. In March, you can go to South Korea or Hong Kong. If you don't want to go far from home, choose travel around Russia. Surely you will like Vyborg or Tver in March.

Beach vacation at the sea in March

Goa parties, the Asian flavor of Nha Trang, the paradise entertainment of Bali, the tranquility and pacification of the Maldives, European-level vacations in Israel, the endless ocean in Morocco, the democracy and accessibility of Thailand, the bright colors of Cuba - in March, numerous treasures of the world's beach resorts are at your feet! All countries located closer to the equator are suitable for holidays by the sea in March. Here the eternal summer continues, the bright sun shines, the turquoise waters of the seas and oceans shine under its rays.

Vietnam

In some parts of Vietnam, March is still considered a rather cool month, although the air is already much warmer than in February. Winter continues in the northern Vietnamese resorts, and the beach season does not stop in the southern ones. The weather suitable for a beach vacation, when the thermometers show 28-33 degrees Celsius, awaits tourists on Phu Quoc Island and at two famous Vietnamese resorts - Nha Trang and Phan Thiet.

Nha Trang, located on the shores of the South China Sea and separated from Saigon by 500 km, is Vietnamese Brazil. Here, too, like in Rio, there is a 7 km long beach framed by a noisy and crowded promenade. Locals swim in the sea early in the morning, when there are still no tourists, so during the day the entire beach belongs to the guests of the resort.

Nha Trang offers tourists a lot of entertainment, from parties in local discos to trips to paradise islands, where pearl and shrimp farms and an aquarium are located.

There are excellent dive sites in the coastal waters, the most famous of which is called the Black Stones.

Vietnam is called one of the cheapest countries in the world for a reason. In Nha Trang, you can find housing from $ 30 per room. For lovers of comfort, there are also luxury hotels, for example, the country's first 6-star hotel.

If the trip to Vietnam takes no more than two weeks, then you do not need to apply for a visa.

Thailand

Thai resorts located on the shores of the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea guarantee similar weather conditions in March. Therefore, whichever beach destination you choose in Thailand, sunny days, endless blue skies and a transparent calm sea will await you.

Sophisticated tourists, who have been to Thailand more than once, buy tours to the islands in March. The advantages of staying there are obvious: few people, amazing clean beaches and a large selection of accommodation - from individual bungalows to hotel complexes.

We recommend travelers to stay on the islands of Krabi or Phuket, washed by the Andaman Sea. In the Gulf of Thailand, the best vacation in March is offered on the islands of Ko Samui and Ko Tao. Phuket is considered to be a noisier and more dynamic place. Samui is chosen by lovers of romance and solitude.

On the east coast of Thailand, good weather will be established in Pattaya and on the island of Koh Chang, which is located near the mainland.

Every year on March 13, Thailand celebrates Elephant Day, on which you should definitely go to one of the local zoos or nurseries to see how this animal will be honored.

A visa is not required at the embassy.

Goa, India

The main tourist season in Goa does not fall in March. However, many tourists will say that there is no better time for a vacation in Goa.

It gets hot here, but not as hot as in April-May. During the day, the air is warmed up to 32-33 degrees. It is best to avoid sunbathing between 11 am and 3 pm. In the evening, the air temperature drops to a comfortable 21-24 degrees, which allows you to go to any party and not get tired of the heat. In March, it is dry in Goa, there will be no showers, which means that the weather will not spoil the good mood.

Finally, in early spring, there are much fewer tourists in this small Indian state, washed by the Arabian Sea, than at other times of the year, so prices for accommodation and meals are significantly lower here. Very few people rest on the beaches, which has a positive effect on their cleanliness. Most of the beach bars and shops continue to operate.

The best beaches in Goa are Arambol - the kingdom of hedonism, Gokarna with the best views in the entire state and Om Beach, where you can feel like a part of the Universe.

An Indian Visa is required. It will be delivered to package tourists at the airport.

Interesting places in Goa

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has long been recognized as one of the best beach island areas on the planet. It seems that there is simply no end to the local beaches: they encircle the entire island, always captivating and exciting the imagination.

To stay in Sri Lanka, you can choose "ecological" hotels, which are located in the most strange places - either in the crown of a tree, or among the rice terrace. There are also more traditional complexes operating on the principle of "All inclusive". They are usually found on the coast, closer to the beaches and the ocean.

In March in Sri Lanka, the weather only pleases: warm days (air temperature is 24-32 degrees), clear sky, no winds. In addition to a beach holiday, at the beginning of spring, you can plan several excursion trips to tea plantations, crocodiles or turtle nurseries, etc.

For a March holiday, we recommend the peaceful Bentota with sandy beaches and coconut palms, the town of Galle, built up with traditional Dutch houses, Hikkaduwa with luxurious diving conditions.

A national Sri Lankan visa can be obtained in advance online or directly at the airport.

Dominican Republic

In March, on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, washed by the Atlantic Ocean, a tourist full house is expected due to spring break. The weather during this period is sunny, hot, suitable for exploring all local attractions.

In the vicinity of Puerto Plata in March, the sun appears on average 7 hours a day. The water temperature remains stable throughout the year - about 26 degrees Celsius. This means that swimming and water sports are possible without restrictions.

One of the most popular beaches in Puerto Plata is La Laguna, marked with the blue flag. Here locals prefer to rest, who on weekends simply occupy this piece of land near the ocean. It will be a little freer on the equally clean and picturesque Dorada beach.

The best water activities in the region can be found at Cofresi Beach. There is also a gorgeous amusement park that will be appreciated by both adults and children.

Guests of Puerto Plata are offered a lot of active entertainment - a trip to the 27 waterfalls of Damajagua, turned into a natural roller coaster, a jeep safari to the Dominican outback, tours to the open ocean to watch humpback whales, diving in the nearest resort of Sosua.

Tourists from Russia do not need a visa to the Dominican Republic.

Egypt

If you go to Egypt in March, it is better to choose Sharm el-Sheikh for your vacation - in Hurghada, which is located south of Sharm, it is too windy in the first month of spring. There are no mountains to hold back the cold winds. However, this weather has its advantages: in March in Hurghada excellent conditions are created for riding surfboards.

Not all areas of Sharm El Sheikh are suitable for a March beach holiday. To feel as comfortable as possible near the coast, it is better to go to the shores of the wind-protected beaches in Naama Bay or Sharm el Maya. Be that as it may, it will be possible to stay in the water only from 11 to 16 o'clock in the afternoon. The rest of the time the sea will be too cool.

In March, the weather will be acceptable for recreation in the resorts of Taba and Dahab.

Egypt is loved by many of our tourists also because a visa for visiting it is placed right at the airport.

Cuba

The Caribbean in winter and early spring is the best place to ride out frost and cold. Liberty Island - Cuba is always bright colors, friendliness of local people, fiery rhythms of Latin American melodies, constant fun and unlimited rum.

The dry season continues here in March. The air temperature during the day ranges from 25 to 28 degrees. The Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Cuba at this time warmed up to 24 degrees.

The favorite resort of our compatriots is Varadero, which is located more than 100 km from the Cuban capital, Havana. Adepts of beach relaxation appreciate the local kilometer-long beaches, which seem to be asking for an advertising brochure, and world-class hotels surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Varadero beach is 20 km long. In some areas, its width reaches 30 meters. It is famous for having areas with a quiet, calm sea, shallow near the coast. They are great for families with small children.

Many hotels in Varadero have beachfront bungalows with access to the water. The favorite pastime of the guests of these bungalows is snorkelling. The water here is very clean, and in some places coral reefs come very close to the shore.

You do not need a visa to visit Cuba.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is an island for sophisticated tourists who appreciate the opportunity to relax in peace and quiet. A secluded beach awaits tourists at the Jimbaran resort. It is customary here not only to enjoy the sun and catch the waves on the surf, but also to taste the freshest seafood at the Jimbaran Bay Beach Restaurant, located right at the edge of the surf. In the evenings, candles are lit on the tables, and the meal is accompanied by the guitar playing of a local musician.

Kuta is considered the most crowded and funniest resort in Bali. People here dance all night long. The clubs here are quite exotic, for example, they have swimming pools. The vibrant nightlife is typical for the Seminyak resort.

It is better to go to Bali at the end of March, when there will be less rain and the air warms up to 28-30 degrees. At the beginning of the month, there are also cool days when the thermometers show 22-23 degrees.

If you travel to Bali in March, you can be a guest of the Nyepi Festival. This is the Balinese New Year, which is celebrated for almost a week.

The third day of the festival is called the day of silence. At this time, shops are closed, the airport is closed, and in the evening the electricity is turned off throughout the island. Imagine what stars you can see over Bali!

Jordan

The main and only beach resort in Jordan is the city of Aqaba, located on the shores of the Red Sea in close proximity to Israeli Eilat and Egyptian Taba. This is a fashionable resort with cozy luxury hotels, wide clean beaches, flower beds with tropical plants, restaurants and bars, and sports grounds.

Aqaba comes alive in March. Tourists come here who appreciate the balance between the outgoing winter coolness and the coming heat of a dry summer. The distant Asian island state of the Philippines, made up of more than 7,000 scattered pieces of land, is a beach paradise. You may not know the names of all the Philippine islands, but you have definitely heard of Boracay. Its beaches have been repeatedly recognized as the best in the world and are certainly among the five most suitable places for a pampered, high-class vacation. The water off the coast of Boracay is crystal clear. In March, it warms up to 27 degrees and, like a magnet, attracts fans of long swims.

The sand on the beaches of Boracay is not heated by the sun, so you can safely step on it with bare feet. Among the beaches of Boracay, the following are especially worth noting:

  • White Beach is the most popular and crowded one. You can appreciate its beauty and picturesqueness in the early morning, when most of the tourists are still asleep;
  • Puka beach located in the north of the island. This is a place far from hiking trails, although civilization has made it here as well. There is a small hotel and several catering establishments here;
  • Bulabog beach, where sufficient waves rise in March for surfing and kitesurfing. It is located parallel to the White Beach on the opposite, eastern, side of the island. You can walk from one beach to another in 10 minutes.

Mauritius

In March, Mauritius is humid and hot (+32 degrees). The sun shines 8 hours a day. The idyll of the weather is sometimes interrupted by short-term showers, which after 15 minutes do not even remember.

Mauritius is an island for luxury holidays. There are places where you can "walk" evening dresses and jewelry. In the capital of the island, Port Louis, restaurants, pubs and discos are open until late. However, the main advantage of the island is its beaches.

  • On the southeast coast of the island, on the shores of the Blue Bay, there is one of the most beautiful local beaches with soft clean sand. Snorkeling and diving enthusiasts often gather here.
  • Bellemare is considered the best beach on the east coast. It is distinguished by its great length, therefore, athletes who are engaged in jogging are constantly found along the embankment. People play beach volleyball on the sand.
  • Trou aux Biches beach, with its smooth entry into the water, attracts families with small children.

Absolutely all the beaches of Mauritius are municipal, which means they are free. The length of the island's coastline is approximately 330 km.

The entire island is surrounded by coral reefs, creating quiet and calm lagoons, inside of which there are practically no waves that interfere with a calm swim.

You can come to Mauritius without applying for a visa. The main thing is that the vacation does not exceed 60 days.

Where to go to Europe in March

March is a great time for sightseeing trips across Europe. It no longer reminds of snow, the air warms up in the center to 10 degrees, and in the south - to 20 degrees, daylight hours increase, giving additional hours for leisurely walks.

In March, it is equally good to explore the streets of Brussels, the terraces of Monaco, the parks of Valencia, the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily or the thermal complexes of Slovenia.

Belgium

In March, the air temperature in the Belgian capital Brussels, as in most European cities, reaches a comfortable 8-10 degrees. Rains are less frequent compared to February.

At the beginning of spring, there are still few tourists in Brussels, which means that hotel prices have been reduced. Despite the fact that Brussels is recognized as the administrative center of the EU, it does not seem solid and serious. Seeing the Manneken Pis statue and the Comics Center, every tourist understands this.

Once in Brussels, you must definitely look:

  • to the main square Grand Place - the heart of the medieval city with the graceful Gothic Town Hall, where you can go with a guided tour;
  • into a former department store called "Old England", now converted for the needs of the Museum of Musical Instruments. The rooftop café of this building offers a magnificent view;
  • to the observation deck in the bizarre iron Atomium, where a high-speed elevator takes you;
  • to the Church of Notre-Dame-du-Sablon, built in the 13th century, which is decorated with 11 incredibly beautiful stained glass windows.

Brussels hosts several interesting events in March. The book festival and design exhibition are of the greatest interest.

Before planning a trip to Brussels, you need to take care of getting a Schengen.

The southern island of Sicily, located at the toe of the Italian "boot", is simply huge. You will not get around it and you will not even go around it during the whole vacation. About 5 million people consider Sicily as their home.

In March, orange trees begin to bloom in Sicily, and the three seas (Mediterranean, Ionian and Tyrrhenian), washing its shores, change their color to turquoise-emerald in the rays of the spring sun.

There are two must-see places in Sicily. These are Palermo and Mount Etna.

  • The island's capital city of Palermo was built a thousand years before the arrival of Christ by the Phoenicians on the shores of the Golden Shell Bay (Conca d'Oro). Here you can find Byzantine cathedrals, Arab palaces, Catalan mansions, Aragonese squares, Christian monasteries. Particularly noteworthy are the cafes serving the best ice cream in the world.
  • Mount Etna is located on the opposite side of the island from Palermo. The white snow cap of Etna, an active volcano with a height of 3340 meters, is visible from afar. Climbing is allowed on Etna. First, tourists drive through the village of Zafferana, then climb higher by cable car, then walk to 4 craters emitting white smoke.

Part of the former Yugoslavia, Slovenia somehow very quickly became an advanced European country, loved by many tourists. It has access to the Adriatic Sea. Although the coastal strip here is small, but from the Slovenian resort of Koper it is easy to get to the Italian Trieste and the Croatian Pula and Rijeka. And this only adds to the charm of Slovenia.

Most tourists begin their acquaintance with Slovenia from the capital of this country, Ljubljana. The city with such a soft, sweet name was founded by the ancient Romans. Since that time, its symbol is a dragon, whose images guard the bridge of Emperor Franz Joseph I. One of the main attractions of Ljubljana is the local castle, to which the funicular lifts tourists.

After walking around Ljubljana, people disperse in all directions. Some tourists go to the Rogaska Slatina balneological resort, whose mineral waters help with diseases of the heart, bones and stomach, others go to the Rogla and Kranjska Gora ski resorts.

10 km from Ljubljana, there is a picturesque lake Bled - a visiting card of the country. In its center is a small island with the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Tourist boats take everyone to the pier, from which a staircase with 99 steps leading to the temple begins.

A Schengen visa is required to travel to Slovenia.

Excursion holidays abroad

When the soul asks for changes and a sharp change in climate, because there is no longer the strength to endure the long Russian winter, slush and low temperatures, it is time to go to where fruit trees are already beginning to bloom, where the air is filled with spring aromas, and the sun heats as if it was May outside. … Of course, now we are not talking about European countries, but about enchanting Asia. Picturesque, vibrant, original South Korea and Hong Kong offer an excellent excursion program.

South Korea

The capital of South Korea, Seoul, was built in accordance with the requirements of the science of Feng Shui. According to this teaching, for the correct circulation of life-giving energy, a harmonious combination of mountains and rivers is necessary. Seoul is surrounded by mountains, and local architects got the river out of the ground. The underground stream was brought out and is a lovely rivulet with picturesque cascades, along the embankment of which it is so pleasant to walk at any time of the year.

Lovers of historical monuments in Seoul will simply fall out of life for at least a week. There are 5 royal historic residences built over 500 years. The Joseon era - the time when Seoul became the Korean capital - also includes the Dongdemun and Nandemun gates. There are also imperial burials in the city called Hongneung and Seongjongneung.

Among the modern attractions of Seoul are the TV Tower, where the observation deck is organized, and the Lotte World amusement park.

For a good day in the Korean capital, visit the Itaewon tourist area, founded in 1997. There are hundreds of shops and restaurants with prices for every wallet.

A visa is not required for Russians.

Hong Kong needs to be explored from different angles:

  • from Victoria Peak, where the funicular lifts tourists. At the top there are souvenir shops, Madame Tussauds and the best observation deck in the city;
  • from the deck of a Star Ferry or a Chinese boat with oblique sails;
  • from the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, where you should come in the evening and be in the best places to see the daily laser show.

Velikiy Novgorod

A visit to Veliky Novgorod, thanks to an interesting excursion program, will be remembered by your children for a long time. Even the most common "adult" sight, such as the local Kremlin, will be made more understandable for children by special theatrical tours conducted by animators in old costumes. The emphasis during such excursions is made on epics and legends.

Children of all ages will be delighted with the ascent to the observation decks located on the bell tower of St. Sophia Cathedral and the Kokuy Tower. Teenagers will be happy to look at the gems collected in the Lord's Chamber.

Children need to be shown the Children's Museum Center, where the world of one of the historical "symbols" of Veliky Novgorod, the seven-year-old boy Onfim, who lived in the 13th century, has been recreated. Children can learn more about birch bark letters, about toys of that time, about teaching methods in a medieval school.

The castle is open on Saturdays in March.

Also in Anapa there is an excavation site of the ancient city of Gorgippia. There is a good museum near this zone, where the most interesting finds of scientists are exhibited: figurines, dishes and much more that were used by local residents of the 17-24 centuries ago. And just to see the remains of ancient buildings will be quite interesting. By the way, on the basis of the museum, various master classes are constantly organized for the little ones.

Choosing a ski resort

In March, spring does not come into its own everywhere. There are many places where the ideal snow for skiing still lies, and athletes believe that winter will never end.

We can say with absolute certainty that it will be snowy and frosty in March in the high-mountainous European resorts. Pay attention to Norway, where there are still not many tourists from the CIS countries. It is worth discovering the resorts of Slovakia or Italy, where every ski lover will find slopes to his liking. You don't have to travel far in search of exotic trails. Uludag in Turkey and Hermon in Israel are great choices for March.

Finally, don't forget about the still snowy slopes of Russia. In principle, in March, you can advise any region where there are relatively high mountains - Siberia, the Caucasus. You will not go wrong!

Ski resorts in Europe

In Europe, you can choose any ski resort in March. For those who are well acquainted with the tracks of Austria, France and Switzerland, we recommend paying attention to Italy and its Dolomites - a continuation of the Alpine ridge. Here are the same convenient trails and a high level of service, as in the best resorts in Central Europe, but more affordable prices for accommodation, meals and skiing. The rest in Slovakia, in the Tatras will be even cheaper. Holidays in the ski resorts of Norway cannot be called budgetary, but it will definitely be memorable!

Slovakia

On the border of Slovakia and Poland, the Tatra Mountains are located, 25 peaks of which reach a height of 2500 meters and even more. Naturally, this mountain range, the highest north of the Alps, has been adapted for winter sports. Slovak ski resorts are quiet, lovely and cozy in a European way, with excellent infrastructure, affordable prices and gentle slopes.

Ski resorts in Slovakia are intended, rather, for beginner athletes and family tourists who dream of putting their offspring on skis.

For professionals, there are also suitable resorts, for example, the famous Jasna, which has repeatedly hosted various world-class competitions. Skiing here is carried out on the slopes of one of the mountains of the Low Tatras massif called Chopok with a height of 2024 meters. 6 tracks out of 41 are marked in black. Developed in Jasna and snowboard slopes.

Another popular Slovak resort, Liptovsky Mikulas, is located very close to Jasna, less than 10 km from the latter. The same mountain Chopok is adapted for skiing here. Liptovsky Mikulas offers its guests 18 easy tracks. Despite the fact that local slopes start at about 950 meters, the resort is not empty. There are ski schools for kids, the slopes are well groomed, the snow cover is corrected with special guns.

To travel to Slovak resorts, a Schengen visa is required.

Norway

Descendants of the Vikings, the Norwegians have great respect for winter sports. With the onset of winter, both adults and children embark on cross-country skis. Alpine skiing is also popular. On the territory of Norway, you can find about 200 winter resorts, among which there are about 10 of the largest and most comfortable bases.

The ski season in Norway starts in November and lasts until early May. Not only Norwegians, but also residents of the neighboring countries - Danes, Germans, Swedes and Russians - are well aware of the local weather conditions and excellent infrastructure (for example, the lifts here have wind canopies and heated seats).

Trysil resort is located at an altitude of 1300 meters, near the border with Sweden. It is here that tourists from St. Petersburg will go first of all, because this is the closest and most accessible ski resort in Norway to our country. The resort is famous for the fact that every skier here expects a guarantee of the availability of suitable snow for skiing. If the weather fails, guests will be refunded their travel expenses.

Another excellent Norwegian resort with 20 lifts and more than 4 dozen slopes is called Hemsedal. It is here, on a well-groomed track, that you can master cross-country skiing. Local schools teach skiing using the Norwegian telemark style of skiing.

Italy

Going to a ski resort in Italy is actually a very good idea. Italy as a ski country has many advantages over its neighbors:

  • it will definitely snow in the Italian Alps in March;
  • local resorts are famous for the longest trails in Europe;
  • Italians have reached unprecedented heights in the skill of combining neighboring resorts into one ski area. Proof of this is the Sella Rondo ski area, which consists of 7 resorts and more than a thousand kilometers of pistes;
  • active holidays in the mountains of Italy can be combined with an interesting excursion. In between skiing, people go on excursions to Venice, Verona, Milan, inspect the castles and lakes closest to the resorts;
  • the resorts of the Dolomites are easily accessible via the airports of Milan and Treviso.

Italy has a huge number of decent ski resorts. Particularly worth mentioning is the Folgarida-Marilleva area in the Val di Sole. Although these resorts, united in one ski area, are considered family-run, there is a good "black" slope for those who have been skiing for a long time.

Another stunning ski area is Passo Tonale. It is renowned for its well-groomed carving courses and hugs some of the best ski schools in the country for toddlers.

Schengen visa required.

Mindful of Vysotsky's line about those mountains where they have not yet been, many skiers choose not familiar European tracks for winter holidays, but more distant and even exotic ski resorts. For example, did you know that warm Israel has places for skiing? You can devote several hours to studying the local slopes, and then go to the sea - and the journey will take a couple of hours. We do not get tired of advising for a trip in March and the ski resorts of Turkey. These are the regions where they know a lot about hospitality.

Turkey

Snow on the elephants of the Uludag mountain range lies until the third decade of March. This means that you need to come to the Turkish ski resort of the same name in the first half of the month. At this time, the level of snow cover reaches 3 meters.

Uludag is the same Antalya with All Inclusive hotels, but in the mountains. Hammams, swimming pools, restaurants, children's rooms - local hotels have everything that our compatriots love so much. Add to this the excellent trails laid in forest glades, where beginners of all ages feel confident. There are also suitable slopes for experienced athletes. In total, in the resort you can find 25 tracks of different difficulty levels, among which there are 3 "black" ones. Tourists are brought to the starting points by 16 lifts.

The resort has a general ski pass for the entire ski area. Sold as a day pass, and a week.

You can fly to Uludag via Bursa, where charters from different parts of the world are often organized, or Istanbul.

A visa for Russians to Turkey is not needed.

Israel

The only place in Israel where there is snow in winter and early spring is Mount Hermon, which is mentioned more than a hundred times in the Bible. The height of the mountain, which is part of the Antilevan massif, is 2814 meters.

On the slope of Hermon, at 2200 meters, there are comfortable slopes for skiing. Local tracks with a total length of 50 km are designed for both beginners and professional athletes. Two slopes are even designed for different competitions. There are special tracks for kids. Children can be enrolled in courses where experienced instructors will take care of them.

Ski area Hermon - these are only slopes, there are no hotels. You can live in one of the Druze villages at the foot of the mountain. Even if you are not going to stay in these small villages, it is worth stopping here for an excursion. Locals, like many years ago, fish in the Ram reservoir, which occupies the crater of an old volcano.

There are also several reserves near the mountain (Banias, Khurshat, Nahal Ayon), along which hiking trails are laid.

You can go to Israel without a national visa in your passport.

Ski resorts in Russia

There are many ski resorts in Russia that are worthy of the attention of the most sophisticated winter sports enthusiasts. A trip to Russian resorts will cost an order of magnitude cheaper than a vacation somewhere in the Alps or Dolomites. The main thing is to plan everything correctly and choose those places in March where there will be high snow cover, stable frost and clear weather.

Ski resorts in Russia

Belokurikha

Siberian resorts, in particular Belokurikha in the Altai Territory, can be an excellent alternative to the alpine slopes. The season in Belokurikha begins in December and ends only in early April. In March, you can expect stable snow and guaranteed skiing and snowboarding. And if suddenly the weather fails, the snow cannons will correct the situation.

Belokurikha slopes are designed for athletes of all skill levels. About 50% of the slopes here can be safely recommended to beginners who are just mastering skiing. For experienced climbers of steep slopes, there are green and red slopes, whose maximum length is 2600 meters.

The Belokurikha resort unites five ski resorts. The largest and most popular of them is called "Grace". Its guests get access to 5 relatively difficult slopes on Mount Tserkovka, whose total length exceeds 6 km. Another good skiing area is located on the slopes of Misha Mountain. Here, at an altitude of 800 meters, there are 2 tracks that are used for slalom competitions.

The resort of Belokurikha is also suitable for freeriders. There is a separate slope with virgin soil for them.

The cost of a ski pass in Belokurikha starts from 800 rubles per day. By the way, you can ride here in the evenings, because the local slopes are well lit.

Abzakovo

In search of good snow in March, experts recommend going to the Urals, to Bashkortostan, where several amazing ski resorts are located, including Abzakovo. It will be possible to ride here until the May holidays.

The tracks are laid out on the slopes of the Krykty-Tau mountain range. Even before the appearance of a ski base here, and this happened in the 1990s, the locals enjoyed the virgin snow with pleasure and excitement, descending from a height of about 800 meters on skis.

The name of the Ural ridge Krykty-Tau, where the fashionable resort Abzakovo appeared, is translated from Bashkir, according to one version, as “many mountains”. What we are talking about, it becomes clear, one has only to look at the massif stretching for 60 km.

In Abzakovo there are 8 ski lifts and 13 slopes with a total length of almost 16 km. And although the height difference is small here - only 320 m. Not only beginner athletes come to Abzakovo. There are also quite difficult tracks. which will appeal to experienced skiers.

Veduchi

Founded not so long ago, in 2018, Veduchi is confidently winning the love of its guests. The resort is located in the Chechen Republic; the best way to get there is through Grozny.

The slope of Mount Daneduk is adapted for skiing in Veduchi. So far, there are only a few tracks, but their number is planned to be increased to 19. The resort is still being built, but this does not bother tourists at all. The main thing that is appreciated by skiers all over the world above all else is the presence of snow. And there will be enough of it here in March!

Now there is one "blue" track for tourists, almost a kilometer long. A chair lift rises to the beginning of the track.

For beginners, another slope has been developed, where a drag lift works. There is a wonderful training park for kids, where there are fearless jumps and low slides.

Where to relax in Russia

Many tourists prefer to spend their holidays in Russia. It is convenient: you can go on a trip at any time, see something new for little money and have a great rest, bringing home gorgeous photos.

In March, you can go to the Caucasus, to one of the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, where you can not only take care of your health, but also go on interesting excursions. A trip to the Urals will be successful in early spring, where, in addition to Yekaterinburg, there are many interesting places to visit.

Don't want to go far from home? Then your choice is Tver or Pereslavl-Zalessky. From St. Petersburg, a stone's throw to Vyborg.

Pereslavl-Zalessky

One of the cities of the Golden Ring, Pereslavl-Zalessky, is separated from Moscow by 148 kilometers. It is located on the territory of the Yaroslavl Region, near Lake Pleshcheevo. This reservoir must be shown to all tourists. It is here that the famous vendace fish, which is called "Pereslavl herring", is found. In past centuries, it was brought from Pereslavl for the tsar and his court. This fish can still be seen on the coat of arms of the city today.

Pereslavl-Zalessky, founded in the XII century, is famous for many historical monuments: you must definitely see the Transfiguration Cathedral, 5 local monasteries, the remains of an old rampart.

But the most interesting thing awaits tourists on Sovetskaya Street. There is the Iron Museum, where more than 200 different exhibits are collected, allowing you to look at the familiar home helper from a different angle.

Another funny thematic museum in Pereslavl is dedicated to radio equipment. And if you are traveling with children, take a look at the estate of the wizard Berendey.

Tver

The quiet and calm city of Tver is located 167 km from Moscow. Probably, it is his tranquility and provinciality that attracts today's tourists. But there were times when Tver was the same, and perhaps a more significant player than Moscow, in the political games of the past centuries.

Unfortunately, the local Kremlin, destroyed by fire in the 18th century, has not survived to this day. In the 1930s, the cathedral was also destroyed. But the architectural monuments of the 17th century have survived, as if reminding us that we are facing a city with a rich history.

Discerning travelers will love the local quirky Air Museum. It contains old pharmaceutical flasks, possibly made without observing technology, because air bubbles can be seen in the glass. Just think - air from the past!

Ural

In March, winter still reigns in the Ural Mountains. Therefore, everyone who dreams of the continuation of the winter fairy tale is recommended to go to the capital of the Urals - the city of Yekaterinburg.

You need to walk around Yekaterinburg, looking into all the oncoming museums in order to warm up. In the local history museum, pay attention to the wooden idol, which is 9 thousand years old. At the Museum of the History of Stone Carving and Jewelery, admire the fine work of local craftsmen.

However, Yekaterinburg is not the whole of the Urals. In winter, you can ride huskies and explore the ice caves in the Abzakovo resort, explore the Olenyi Streams reserve, explore the 17th century Verkhoturye fort. It is said that it was in the latter that the man who invented the bicycle in 1801 lived. This is the blacksmith Efim Artamonov. His iron transport vehicle was shown at a fair in Moscow.

Vyborg

Vyborg, located north of St. Petersburg, near the border with Finland, will be covered with snow in March and relatively deserted. There is always something to do here. For example, go to the Vyborg Castle, built in the 13th century by the Swedes. In the castle, you should definitely climb the tower of St. Olaf in order to see the city from a great height.

A local attraction is the Round Tower, on the third level of which there is a good restaurant. Another city tower - the Clock Tower - used to be the belfry of the now destroyed cathedral.

Take a few hours to stroll through the picturesque 19th century Mon Repos Park. This park surrounds the estate of the same name, which in the past belonged to Baron Nicholas.

Once in Vyborg, buy a couple of pretzels at the Knutson's cafe, which is located on the Town Hall Square. This is a purely Vyborg sweet, created according to the monastery recipe.

Those who have sailed on a large ship at least once will confirm that a cruise relaxes, sets you in a positive mood, reconciles with yourself and the world, makes you feel needed, loved and desired. After all, the entire crew of the ship during the cruise will surround their guests with care and attention. You quickly get used to this kind of rest. And, just stepping on the ground after the end of the cruise, you immediately plan a new one.

What to choose in March - exotic near the shores of South America or the more familiar and familiar to many Persian Gulf? Whatever you prefer, it will be unforgettable!

Galapagos Islands

10-11 day cruises to the Galapagos, an archipelago belonging to Ecuador and recognized as a nature reserve, are aerobatics in organizing such tours.

You need to start with the fact that huge liners with thousands of tourists on board do not go to the islands, separated from the mainland by 1100 km. This is partly due to concern for the environment, and secondly because of the high cost of the tour. Ships plying to the Galapagos take on board 50 people. By the way, the most ideal conditions for rest have been created for these lucky ones on board. All cabins have panoramic windows and the decks are wide enough for dancing.

The Galapagos includes 19 islands and about 4 dozen rock formations. During a cruise through the archipelago, you can visit the islands:

  • Santa Cruz, which was chosen by huge turtles weighing under 100 kg;
  • Fernandina, where the guides will show the marine iguanas;
  • Isabela is the place chosen as their home by the Galapagos penguins.

No visa required.

Persian Gulf

The minimum duration of a cruise in the Persian Gulf is 7 days, the maximum can be up to a month. Such travels with a call to all the oncoming Arab interesting cities are inexpensive and therefore are very loved by travelers.

Winter and early spring are the best times to cruise along the shores of Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and the UAE. During this period, the air temperature is kept below +30 degrees, which makes it possible to make long excursion excursions.

In Oman, tourists are shown the capital of the country, Muscat, where you can visit the historical museum, admire the palaces of the local ruler, and buy souvenirs at the Mattrah market.

In Qatar, travelers are taken to Doha and on an excursion to the desert approaching the city. In Bahrain, the tour program includes visits to ancient burial places and some historical sights - palaces, a fort built by the Portuguese, etc.

In the United Arab Emirates, the vessel stops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

In most of the listed countries, a visa is not required for Russians. You will have to get only the national visa of Oman.

Safari in Africa

Image
Image

In recent years, ecological tourism has been gaining momentum. Advanced travelers choose African photo safari. This is a peaceful hunt - tracking animals, a desire to see as many representatives of various species as possible, a triumph from a successful shot.

Tourists are offered full immersion in the world of wildlife. Travelers often live on the territory of natural parks in special lodges, to which wild animals freely approach at night. Daily open jeep trips are organized for guests in search of various animals, reptiles and birds.

In March, suitable weather conditions for such trips await tourists in Botswana and Zambia.

Botswana

Botswana's National Parks cover a vast area in the Okavango Delta. In March, the rainy season ends here, during which a huge number of birds are observed in the reserves.

Wonderful safaris are organized from the Gio camp, where you can see antelopes, baboons, hippos, Nile crocodiles. People come to the Duba Plain camp to witness the lion's hunt. This is a rather rare sight, as big cats prefer to forage for their food at night. But near the Oak Plain camp there are huge herds of buffaloes, which are easier to defeat in the daytime.

While the lion is straightening out its prey, giant vultures the size of a man gather in the neighboring trees. At night, elephants come to the camp. By the way, there are a lot of them near the Savuti camp, built on the banks of a waterway. It is said that during a drought, elephants come to the local pool to get drunk. There are also giraffes and a large pride of lions.

They are allowed to enter Botswana without a national visa.

Zambia

On the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, there is an impressive 120 meters high Victoria Falls. From the Zambian side, it can be seen from the territory of the Thundering Smoke Natural Park. In addition to the falls, Zambia, often referred to by travel agencies as the most underrated country in Africa for safari tours, has a lot to see.

15-20 years ago, there were simply unexplored lands, where idle tourists never set foot. Now a queue of people wishing to see wild animals in their natural habitat is lining up to local reserves. Two national parks - North Luangwa and South Luangwa are located on the Luangwa River, which floods in winter, gathering herds of antelopes, zebras, elephants and other equally interesting animals.

You will have to live in modest tent camps located on the shores of small lakes. From the North Luangwa camp, you can plan a trip to the neighboring country of Malawi, to the lake of the same name, where there are about 500 species of fish. Tourists are kayaking on the lake.

You are allowed to enter Zambia if you have a national visa in your passport.

Events, festivals, carnivals

There are a lot of holidays and festivals in March to combine your beach or sightseeing vacation with attending special events, participation in which will be remembered much more than the usual pastime - going to the beaches or walking around the city.

In March, sakura begins to bloom in Japan, the Keukenhof flower park opens in the Netherlands, where the first flowers delight with bright colors. On March 17, all of Ireland celebrates St. Patrick's Day. Join us!

Japan

Admiring cherry blossoms in bloom has become a cult in Japan. When the sakura is covered with a delicate pink color, all the inhabitants of Japan pour out into the streets and parks to sit on bedspreads under the trees, drink tea, hoping that some petal will fall into a cup for good luck, stroll leisurely under the lush branches, and meet with friends. This crowd is joined by numerous tourists who specially plan their trip to Japan for this significant event.

The first spring primrose can be found in March on the southern Japanese islands - Okinawa and Kyushu. In Japan, there are many places where cherry trees grow crowded, reminiscent of beautiful oases in bloom. In the second half of March, it is worth going:

  • in Fukuoka on the island of Kyushu, where more than a thousand cherry trees grow on the hillside in Nishi Park, between which paths are laid, leading to Terumo - the former family sanctuary of local feudal lords - and to a stunning observation deck;
  • to Hiroshima on Honshu. Along the Motoyasu River, which flows through the Peace Memorial Park, beautiful cherry trees are planted, which are spectacularly illuminated in the evening;
  • to Okayama to Honshu. This city has a landscape garden called Korakuen, founded in the 17th century. Between it and Okayama Castle, there are 500 sakura trees.

If your vacation falls in the first half of March, then go to the city of Kawazu on the Izu Peninsula in Honshu. There are cherry trees of the kawazu-sakura variety, which bloom almost a month earlier than ordinary cherries. Another alley of these trees is in the city of Atami, located south of Tokyo.

To travel to Japan, you need to obtain a national visa.

Ireland

Every year on March 17, residents of Ireland remember their patron saint - St. Patrick. He was able to predict the moment of his death, which fell on March 17, 461, and bequeathed to his compatriots to greet this day with smiles on their faces. Therefore, right from the morning on St. Patrick's Day, every self-respecting Irishman puts on a green hat, green jacket and with a pot of clover goes to the place of mass festivities. In a bunch of clovers, you should look for a leaf with four petals, which, as you know, is a symbol of happiness.

Dublin is transforming on 17 March. In every square, at every intersection, local orchestras performing Celtic melodies create a festive mood. Right there people start dancing to the sound of bagpipes. In the evening, the sky over Dublin explodes with bright fireworks stars.

It's hard to find a free spot in Irish pubs after sunset. Everyone is eager to drink in honor of their beloved saint a pint of Guinness.

A visa is required to visit Ireland.

Netherlands

The most famous flower park in the Netherlands called Keukenhof is open only a couple of months a year. The beginning of the season falls on the last 10 days of March. During this period, the flowering of tulips, hyacinths and amaryllis begins here.

The area of the park is 32 hectares. There are winding paths between the flower beds, which are the main stars of Keukenhof. Fields and rivers of flowers are interspersed with pavilions where tropical orchids grow and bulbs of all those gorgeous flowers that just bloom on the street are sold.

The observation deck, arranged in the upper part of a typical Dutch mill, is of great interest to tourists. The height from which you can take pictures of the nearest part of the park is small, but people are happy about that too. A river flows through the park, which serves as an excellent backdrop for spectacular photographs.

A Schengen visa is required.

Shopping tours

When Christmas sales end in Europe, shopaholics do not lose heart, because they know that there will always be cherished countries with a free trade zone in the world, or at least places where you can buy luxurious things at affordable prices. In March, you can go on a shopping tour to the Middle East or Andorra.

Andorra

The small country of Andorra, located between the two European "giants" France and Spain, had to somehow survive and somehow attract tourists. It turned out that for the development of the tourism business, the most competent thing was to declare the whole country a duty-free zone.

The inhabitants of Andorra already had a similar experience: in the past, many local families were involved in smuggling goods, transporting them along secluded mountain trails from France to Spain and vice versa. Now times have changed, and already in Andorra the French and Spaniards were drawn to shopping. And also all the tourists whom fate has thrown into Andorra.

Here, indeed, at any time of the year, you can buy any goods about 20% cheaper than their usual cost in neighboring countries. Pay attention to cigars, watches, clothes and shoes.

To travel to Andorra, you need a Schengen visa.

UAE

Excursion and beach holidays in Dubai can be perfectly combined with shopping. All European fashionistas are well aware that with some luck in the UAE, you can find a lot of interesting things for your own wardrobe, for your home, and for friends.

Buying everything in one place in Dubai is as easy as shelling pears. To do this, you need to go to one of the local malls - huge stores, of which there are more than 5 dozen in the city. The assortment in them is very similar. Foreigners prefer to shop at Deira City Center and Bur Juman malls, while locals often go to Wafi. The latter can also be visited by those who are interested in the achievements of Arab designers - there are several good boutiques of local fashion designers.

There is also a mall in Dubai, where you can find good discounts throughout the year. It is called the Dubai Outlet Mall. However, experienced shopaholics believe that malls are for "weaklings". It is much more interesting to look for unique gizmos in small Arab shops and markets. The finest selection of silk fabrics can be found at the Mena Bazaar, the finest pashmina at the Central Market, and gold jewelry at the Dair Specialty Bazaar. The most original souvenirs are sold at the Al Karama market.

UAE visa is issued at the airport.

Active recreation, diving, surfing

In March, it is not yet too noticeable that spring has already arrived according to the calendar. And although the people are already satiated with winter and snow, it will not be possible to bring summer closer by staying in place. But there is a solution - to escape somewhere to the south, where the turquoise waters of the seas hide the most beautiful corals.

The Caribbean will be calm and snorkeling for a few more months, so you can head to Mexico, where humpback whales still frolic along its shores.

Fans of active entertainment can recommend another fantastic option for a March holiday - the unique and always pleasant Seychelles.

Mexico

Whom can divers meet when diving off the coast of Mexico? Several species of sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, stingrays and many other equally large representatives of the underwater fauna.

For a long time, Mexico was considered just a popular tourist region in the Caribbean. But in the past few years it has gained a reputation as a world-class diving destination.

Stretching between the United States in the north and Guatemala and Belize in the south, Mexico occupies a vast area with a mass of seascapes off its coast. To the south of the US state of California, there is a long protrusion of Baja California, from where trips to the Sea of Cortez and Socorro Island are organized. This is where the best diving in all of Mexico is offered. In March, divers will enjoy a calm sea and visibility up to 50 meters in the water. Look out for packs of hammerhead sharks and sea lion colonies. Near the neighboring island of San Benedicto, huge manta rays with a wingspan of up to 7 meters frolic at this time of the year. They are divers friendly.

Seychelles

The Seychelles archipelago, which lies east of Africa in the Indian Ocean, experiences peak tourist seasons in winter and early spring. It's hot, humid and very beautiful here.

The main island of the archipelago is called Mahe. It has many beautiful beaches and expensive hotels, but we recommend spending a little more time and getting from it to the neighboring islands, each of which is worthy of attention.

Fans of diving and snorkeling travel to Praslin Island: a picturesque coral reef is located parallel to its coastline.

The Aldabra group of islands has some of the most pristine coral reefs on the planet. These islands have spectacular coral walls full of life. Here you can find small bright fish, huge stingrays, friendly dolphins, and indifferent whale sharks.

Silhouette Island is famous for its ideal fishing opportunities. On La Digue, you can see one of the symbols of the Seychelles - huge turtles.

You can fly to the Seychelles without a visa.

Our compatriots are especially fond of holidays - and not at all because of what the rest of humanity expects holidays. No, for our tourists this is an opportunity to organize a short, but unscheduled vacation. We add a few days off to the holiday - and voila, you can go far away without using paid rest days.

International Women's Day is a chance to arrange a memorable journey for yourself and your other half. You can choose Moscow for a mini-vacation, where there is always something to do with yourself, or the most romantic city in the world - Paris.

Moscow

In business, rational Moscow, in fact, there are places suitable for memorable dates. You can get closer to the stars and admire the capital from a height of the 60th floor by ordering a table in a restaurant located in the Moscow City skyscraper. It offers a fashion photographer and live music.

To be photographed near the Tree of Love, hung with locks, or maybe hang your own symbol of the inviolability of vows, residents and guests of the capital come to the Luzhkov Bridge to the Tretyakov Gallery.

On the Avenue of Love in Kolomenskoye, it is customary to make wishes near "magic" stones, the park of the Novodevichy Convent is just a wonderful secluded place for leisurely walks and heart-to-heart conversations, and Vorobyovy Gory is famous for the best observation deck in the capital.

Paris

The capital of France has always been known as the city of all lovers. Couples and newlyweds are especially fond of coming here. For some, it will be quite romantic just to see the Eiffel Tower from the observation deck and kiss in front of it, while someone will make a whole program aimed at making a short vacation unforgettable.

Heed our recommendations and Paris will become your favorite city in the world! Admire the musicians on the Pont-Neuf bridge, walk around the Marais quarter, dine somewhere in the former Bastille area, count the bridges on the Seine, climb the Eiffel Tower, sit on green chairs in the Tuileries garden, watching passers-by, and arrange a belly party in gourmet shops on the Ile Saint-Louis. Be sure to buy several varieties of wine and cheese, and don't forget the local sweets.

The next day, plan a stroll in the Luxembourg Gardens and a trip out of town to Versailles, the beloved fiefdom of the sun king Louis XIV.

Inexpensive vacation in March - what to choose?

Travel will be considered ideal if it does not require unnecessary financial costs. It just seems like a trip abroad can't be cheap. Both in Europe and in Asia there are several countries where you can spend no more than 10-20 euros (dollars) per day. We recommend going to relatively cheap Poland or exotic Cambodia in March.

Cambodia

The closest neighbor of Vietnam, Cambodia, is known all over the world as the place where the Angkor Wat complex, lost in the jungle, is located, as a magnet attracting tourists. Excursions to this city of temples start from the city of Siem Reap, which can be reached from the capital city of Phnom Penh by plane. Domestic flights in Asian countries are very cheap.

In addition to Angkor Wat, it is worth going to the less popular Beng Melea complex, dated to the XII century. It is believed that this particular city was taken as a basis for the construction of Angkor Wat. And if the buildings of the latter have already in our days at least partially freed from the approaching jungle, then the buildings of Beng Melea have remained entangled in trees. A mesmerizing sight!

In Cambodia, you can save on accommodation (rooms in quite decent hotels will cost $ 10-35), food (a hearty lunch will cost $ 10, and maybe even cheaper), transport (auto rickshaws will take $ 1-2 for trips around the city).

A visa for staying in Cambodia for tourists is stamped right at the airport.

Poland

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is easily accessible by land transport, thus saving a significant amount of money. To do this, you need to take a train to Kaliningrad, from where buses go to Warsaw.

Warsaw was seriously damaged during the Second World War. After the end of hostilities, it was restored, and the work of the restorers was appreciated by UNESCO. Despite the reconstruction of many historic buildings, the city looks more modern than many other settlements in Europe. It is dominated by buildings in styles that were considered fashionable in the 20th century.

You can save money in Warsaw if:

  • come here on the weekend, because the cost of living in local hotels decreases on weekends;
  • choose hostels for living. There are several good places in the center, where not only beds in dormitories are offered, but also separate rooms for two;
  • visit Warsaw museums on certain days of the week, when they are admitted free of charge. There are more than two dozen interesting museums in Warsaw. Free admission to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Museum and the Hunting Museum is set on Thursday, the Uprising Museum on Sunday, the Wilanowski Palace on Saturday, etc.

Schengen visa required.

Where to go in March without a visa?

How well it is to plan a trip without thinking about paperwork, queues at the embassies to get a visa, excitement, and whether they will give a permit this time. We offer several countries where you can go without a visa, having gathered just in a day. In March, it will be very comfortable to take long walks and sightseeing. And the visa-free beach countries have already been described above in the corresponding section.

List of visa-free countries

Panama

Wide beaches on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, many natural parks (Volkan Baru, Darien, Soberania, Metrapolitana and others), archaeological zones (one of the most interesting is located in the Sariguda Park), authentic Indian villages and the legendary Panama Canal linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans are Panama.

Curious tourists do not miss the opportunity to stroll along the streets of Panama - the main city of the country. It was built by the Spaniards in the first half of the 16th century, but little survived from the colonial buildings - a university complex, several temples and fortress walls. The modern city, built up with skyscrapers and huge entertainment centers, resembles the megalopolises of the United States.

People don't swim in the ocean in Panama City. Here they just walk along the embankment and admire the port. The beaches are equipped not far from the capital - in Punta Cham.

Turkey

Turkey is an understandable, close and familiar country to many tourists, so our compatriots willingly come here at any time of the year. In March, you can go to the Mediterranean coast, the main thing is to choose a hotel with swimming pools, in which the water is heated.

For a March holiday, you can also recommend a trip to Istanbul, where it is so pleasant to walk a lot, ride a tram, climb the Galata Tower to take a look around the whole city, taste goodies in a cafe where only locals dine.

If you don't want to go to Istanbul, choose the inner regions of Turkey for recreation, for example, the mysterious Cappadocia. People come here to look at monasteries carved into soft tuff rocks. The most interesting local attractions are concentrated on the section between the cities of Nevshikhir, Avanos and Urgup. All tourists are shown the village of Goreme with several temples and some of the local underground cities, for example, Derinkuyu, where houses, churches, canteens, etc. are located at different levels.

For $ 150-200, you can see Cappadocia from a balloon basket. Such an attraction is offered in the Uchisar village.
