Krasic is a small village located on the southwestern slope of Zhumberk, a few kilometers from Ozal. Krasic is considered a prosperous and prosperous village. This cozy medieval village with narrow streets, stone arches and friendly locals is very attractive for tourists. Krasic is also known as a place of pilgrimage for Catholics, because it was in this village that Aloiziy Stepinats was born.
Stepinac became Archbishop of Zagreb during World War II. After the war in 1945, he was illegally accused by the communists of helping the fascists and placed under house arrest in Krasic. The last years of his life he spent here, in complete solitude, looked after by two nuns. The villagers presented Stepinats with a domestic sheep as food as a sign of help and compassion, but the archbishop did not slaughter the animal.
The rooms in which the archbishop spent the rest of his life were in the parish priest's house not far from the village church. The Memorial Museum is currently open there.
It is known that the archbishop lived more than modestly. He slept on a bed without a mattress and wore only church clothes; there is also a writing desk in his room, at which he read and worked. Already a very elderly man, the archbishop celebrated Mass in a small village church. The church was rebuilt in 1913, the architect involved in the reconstruction, obviously, was fond of Art Nouveau. Fragments of real medieval stone masonry have been preserved in the chapel.

In Krasic, a Greek Catholic church has been preserved, above the entrance to which there is an image of the Mother of God with a baby and angels. The central entrance is finished with light marble and is located in a recess under an arch decorated with stone ornaments.
