Description of the attraction

The central embankment of the city is rightfully considered one of the oldest streets in the city. Wonderful palm trees grow throughout the Lenin Embankment, numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and wonderful attractions are located.

Near the berths of boats and motor ships there is the main station of the cable car, along it in a few minutes you can climb the Darsan hill, it has a height of 110 meters above the sea. From its top, a wonderful view of the city itself and its surroundings opens, and below is the port of Yalta.

A wonderful memorial complex was opened on the Hill of Glory in 1967 in memory of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War and the civil war.

Not far from the lower station of the cable car is the hotel "Tavrida". This hotel was built in 1875, it was he who for a long time was considered the largest and most comfortable in the city. In 1876 N. A. Nekrasov, he came here for treatment. Many other celebrities lived in this hotel, for example, in 1879, M. P. Mussorgsky came here. A. P. Chekhov was also in this hotel in 1894, and in Soviet times here over his poem "Good!" worked V. V. Mayakovsky.

The schooner restaurant "Hispaniola" is located in the western part of the Embankment. This building is made in the form of an old sailing ship, which was used in the filming of many famous films, for example, in the movie "Treasure Island".

Opposite is Isadora Duncan's tree. This tree is not less than 500 years old; under its spreading crown, the famous ballerina met with Sergei Yesenin.

At the farthest western point, the embankment passes through the Uchan-Su River, nearby is the hall of the Union of Artists.
