The Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory is famous not only for its numerous resorts, but also for its wonderful wineries. Vineyards are planted on 26 thousand hectares on the Taman Peninsula and below - in the Novorossiysk region. Wineries of the Krasnodar Territory, which allow tourists to visit, are large ("Abrau-Dyurso", "Myskhako", "Kuban-wine", "Fanagoria") and modest, family-type enterprises ("Karakesidi").
You can visit the wineries at any time of the year. The most picturesque vineyards look from late spring to mid-autumn. In summer, almost every winery hosts a series of holidays and festivals. In autumn, during the grape harvest, guests are invited to a festival of young wine, in winter they simply conduct excursions to the production and arrange tastings.

Abrau-Durso
The famous Abrau-Dyurso sparkling wine factory is located in the village of the same name not far from the Black Sea coast on the shores of Lake Abrau, which means “Big” in Adyghe. Durso can be translated as "Four sources".
The imperial estates near Novorossiysk in 1872, thanks to the efforts of the Czech agronomist Franz Heyduk, suddenly turned into vineyards. Until the grapes gave the first harvest, none of the local residents believed that this was possible at all. In 1896, the first champagne was produced at the winery, the management of which was entrusted to Count Golitsyn. Five tunnels were created to store it. In 1897 the world was able to taste champagne under the Abrau brand.
Currently, excursions are organized around the plant for everyone, and they also offer tastings of the wine that is produced here. A brand shop has been opened at the winery.
