What awaits tourists in Israel? They will be able to relax in the resorts of the Red and Mediterranean Seas, explore the rich underwater world, stay in upscale hotels, have fun at excellent discos, and visit the waterfalls of Israel.
Banias
It is represented by two waterfalls - large (on the right) and small (on the left): the descent to them is carried out by steps (benches are provided for rest).
Saar waterfall
Translated, Saar means "stormy" - this waterfall lives up to its name in the winter months. Thanks to the available viewing platforms at different heights, tourists will be able to view the Saar Falls from different angles (equipped steps and handrails lead to them, which will allow them to hold on to the ascent, and to move from one platform to another there are pedestrian bridges, which are also a good place for review).
Waterfalls in the Nahal Ayun nature reserve
In the reserve, through a mountain gorge among sheer cliffs, the river of the same name flows, forming several waterfalls. Among them, travelers are advised to pay attention to the Melnitsa waterfall (named after a nearby mill; its waters fall from a 20-meter height), Ayun (its height is more than 9 m) and Tanur (up to 30 m in height). All these waterfalls have paths with signs, and next to them there are observation platforms.
Waterfalls in Sakhne National Park
In the park, guests will find waterfalls surrounded by green lawns, forming a large natural pool in which you can swim all year round (the water temperature remains constant at + 28˚ C), an archeology museum (special attention should be paid to the collection of ancient Greek and Persian ceramics), a restaurant (menu replete with fish dishes), an entertainment program for children and parents.
Waterfall of david
In the reserve where this waterfall is located, there is a whole complex of water cascades formed by the waters of the Nahal David stream, but travelers are interested in the largest and most beautiful 36-meter waterfall of David with a cave inside (a winding path leads to it).
Waterfall in the Gamla nature reserve
A special trail leads to the 50-meter waterfall, and a nearby observation deck is provided to observe the water flow (in addition to the waterfall, guests will also be able to see the ruins of the ancient city of Gamla). With the largest eagle nesting site in Israel, visitors can see these birds of prey hovering overhead.
