A resort in the southeastern part of the Crimean Peninsula, Sudak is traditionally considered a wine-making center and a popular beach resort. The city is located on the shores of the Sudak Bay at the confluence of the river of the same name into the Black Sea. In the west, its territory is limited by the Fortress Mountain, and in the east, the bay is closed by Cape Alchak. The Sudak embankment stretches along the surf strip, which becomes a place for a traditional evening promenade for vacationers and local residents.

If you look at the Sudak embankment from the sea, it ends on the right in front of Cape Alchak. It is a low mountain range, composed mainly of marbled limestone. Millions of years ago, the rock was part of a coral reef, and today the limestone, having succumbed to weathering, shows the traveler bizarre formations.

The hiking trail to Cape Alchak is only 800 meters long, and therefore it will be interesting to walk even for children. The path lies through the famous Aeolian harp - a through hole in the rock formed by the long-term weathering of soft rock. The arch is named after the mythical wind lord Aeolus. It picks up the slightest vibrations in the air and in a special way "/>

Even the names of the water park slides in Sudak are amazing:

  • "/>" Orange River "looks bright and positive. Part of the slide is closed, and therefore descending along it causes special sensations.
  • The name of the attraction "Kamikaze" speaks for itself - with a platform height of only 14 meters, the slide has a descent angle that allows it to reach speeds of up to 40 km / h.
  • Despite the frightening name, "Bluebeard" is the most children's attraction in the water park on the embankment in Sudak.

A powerful adrenaline rush for the guests of the water park is guaranteed on the Superloop ride. The launch platform at a height of 23 meters and the ability to reach speeds of up to 75 km / h imitate a cliff jump into the Black Sea.
