There are many places in Hong Kong where you can spend the whole day having fun with both friends and family.
Water Park in Hong Kong
Hong Kong Ocean Park has:
- an oceanarium, divided into several zones (walking through the transparent tunnel, guests will see aquariums with sharks and a variety of fish; and they will also be able to see the performance of dolphins);
- mini-zoo with pandas;
- lagoons with fountains;
- water slides and attractions: if you wish, you can raft down the river (attraction "The Rapids"); experience the water attraction “Raging River” (it involves a boat ride up the river through the jungle and a sharp descent down);
- cafes, restaurants, shops with soft drinks, ice cream and sweets.
Children will be especially delighted with visiting Ocean Park - parties and exciting shows are arranged for them here.
Adults are asked to pay HK $ 250 for a ticket and HK $ 125 for children (3-11 years old).
Water activities in Hong Kong
To pamper themselves with a dip in the pool every day, tourists should book a hotel with a pool, such as the “Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel”.
Guests of Hong Kong are advised to visit The Peninsula Spa - here they will have saunas, a swimming pool, 14 rooms where various procedures are performed (massage - 1500 Hong Kong $ / 1.5 hours; intensive facial - 1300 Hong Kong $ / 1 hour; aromatherapy - 1200 Hong Kong $ / 1 hour).
Those interested can take a ride on the StarFerry ferry - it runs between Hong Kong and Kowloon (the trip lasts no more than 15 minutes; a ticket for adults costs HK $ 2, 5-3, 4, for children - HK $ 1, 5-2, 1, and a tourist ticket, valid for 4 days, will cost tourists HK $ 25). It is worth noting that you can enjoy the Symphony of Lights laser show right from the ferry if you can plan a boat trip by 20:00.
Those who like to spend time on the beaches can take a closer look at Repulse Bay (here you can sunbathe on the sun loungers; use the barbecues; play volleyball on the equipped grounds; ride a yacht; dive with scuba diving; taste sea delicacies in nearby restaurants), Deep Water Bay (the bay is protected from sharks by a stretched net, and the beach itself is equipped with eateries, restaurants, rescue patrols), Sheko Beach (rather big waves "rage" here all year round, which is attractive for surfers; in addition, it will be interesting for amateurs rock climbing and barbecuing), Big Wave Bay (although big waves are rare here, surfers of all ages "occupy" it anyway).
