There are many fairy tales and legends about the beautiful and mysterious Persia. This is what the Islamic Republic of Iran was called until the 30s of the last century. Tourism in the country of the finest silks, bright carpets and luxurious palaces is only gaining momentum, but the architectural masterpieces, the seas of Iran and its cultural traditions attract more and more travelers every year.

Geographic features

For beach lovers, the most important thing is to answer the question of what seas in Iran are and whether they are suitable for a full-fledged vacation. Located in the southwestern part of Asia, the state is washed by the Caspian Sea in the north, in the southwest and in the south by the Persian and Oman gulfs of the Indian Ocean.

The climate of Iran depends both on the latitude at which the country is located, and on the seas, which sufficiently affect the weather. The Iranian coast of the Caspian Sea is characterized by a subtropical climate. There are mild winters and warm summers. It is much hotter on the shores of the southern bays, and in the summer months the air temperature and humidity do not allow you to feel comfortable.

Beach vacation

Despite strict Muslim laws, there are beaches in the country. When asked which sea washes Iran in the resort area and where it is located, travel agencies answer - the Persian Gulf and the island of Kish. This resort has a special beach environment. Women and men swim and sunbathe separately, and the beaches for these purposes are equipped in the only place on the island and are paid. There are no sunbathing zones near hotels, which are not numerous on the island. This rule applies to both tourists and locals.

The beaches and the sea of Iran are especially popular with guests from the Emirates, who do not support their state's policy regarding beach tourism and fly to Iran to avoid coexistence of persons of both sexes in the swimming and sunbathing area.
