Diving in Belarus sounds, to say the least, very strange. After all, there are no seas or oceans on the territory of the country. And yet it exists.
Lake Rudakovo
This place, without the slightest exaggeration, is the cradle of Belarusian diving. Scuba diving began to dive to its bottom back in 2002.
It is located not too far from Minsk, only one hundred and thirty kilometers. The nature here is magnificent and, what is especially important, the water is quite clear, providing a decent visibility of 2.5 meters. The underwater landscape of the lake is also noteworthy - an almost edgeless plain covered with lush algal forests.
An interesting, or rather, a unique local attraction is the "monument" to the computer. One of the models was poured into concrete and lowered to the bottom. In 2009, another interesting point appeared here - a typewriter immortalized in a similar way.
Lake Strusto
The depth of the reservoir is 23 meters. Located in Braslav district, Vitebsk region.
Volos Yuzhny Lakes
The depths here are already more significant. It is over forty meters. It is part of the Druyka river basin. As a reference point, you can take the village of Zaborie, located not far from the town of Braslav.
Lake Volos North
Apparently, this is the brother of the previous reservoir, but its depth, although impressive, is much less. Just 29 meters. Located in the Braslav region.
Bobritsa lake
The lake, 23 meters deep, is another popular dive site. Located near the village of Staroye Lyadno.
Lake Ginkovo
This lake with a depth of 43.3 meters is located in the Glubokoye region.
Lake Dolgoe
This is the deepest body of water in Belarus. The depth here is 53.7 meters.
