Description of the attraction
In the town of San Lorenzello itself, you can see numerous religious buildings: the Church of San Lorenzo with a wooden statue of the patron saint of the city, the Church of the Congregazione della Sanita with a collection of ceramics, the former Carmelite monastery, as well as the temples of San Sebastiano and San Donato and the Madonna Addolorata chapel.
Generally, San Lorenzello is a place with a rich archaeological past. Along the banks of the Titerno River, you can see the remains of ancient mills and various buildings that were used for processing clay and making ceramics. And above the historical center of the city rises Mount Monte Erbano, named so because of the huge variety of herbs growing on it, including medicinal ones. At the very top of the mountain there is an equipped parking lot from which you can admire the surroundings.
