One of the most popular tourist destinations today, of course, is the island of Crete and every year thousands of people from different parts of the world come to this hospitable Greek island, where the sea, the sun, many different attractions and a lot of entertainment are waiting for them, both for adults and children. … There are also several water parks on the island, among which, of course, deserves special attention, located about 30 km from Heraklion and just 5 km from the popular resort of Hersonissos, Aqua Plus Water Park - one of the oldest water parks in Greece.
Cozyly located on a picturesque hill, from the top of which magnificent panoramic views open up and literally immersed in greenery, the Aqua Plus Water Park (the original name is the Aqua Splash water park) first opened its doors to visitors more than 20 years ago, becoming the first water park in the Balkan region, and today it is one of the best water parks in the country.
Aqua Plus water park is a modern water and entertainment center with an area of 23 hectares with the latest water control and purification systems, a variety of attractions (including extreme ones), swimming pools, sun loungers and sun umbrellas (included in the admission price), bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and free wi-fi. The water park also offers table tennis, billiards, and for younger visitors - a playground and trampolines. Among the most popular attractions of the water park are such attractions as Kamikaze, Crazy River, Lazy River, Tsunami and Octopus (for children aged 2 to 6).
The safety of the guests of the water park is monitored by a team of professional rescuers. There is also a medical staff in Aqua Plus.
