Description of the attraction
An architectural and historical monument, as well as a symbol of the picturesque town of Morshyn, is the old mineral water pump-room, which was lovingly called by residents and vacationers - "Mushroom".
The pump room "Gribok" is located on Parkovaya Square and is the main source of the famous natural (natural) mineral water "Morshinskaya", which turned the picturesque town of Morshin into a resort of world importance. Thanks to its characteristic architecture, the pump room "Gribok" has long become the hallmark of this resort. The pump room is depicted on the coat of arms of the city of Morshyn and on the label of Morshinskaya bottled mineral water.
The opening of the pump room "Gribok" took place in the central park of Morshin in 1935. It is designed to serve six thousand people. Heating and preparation of therapeutic concentrations of mineral waters is carried out under the vigilant control of a hydrochemical laboratory in a special section of the pump room.
The alleys of the resort park radiate from the pump room "Gribok" to the large closed pavilion of the general resort pump room of mineral waters, the general resort balneological and mud baths, the Morshyn Palace of Culture, the sanatoriums "Perlina Prykarpattya" and "Dniester", as well as to the railway station. There is a chapel to the left of the architectural monument.
Every day a huge crowd of people gathers at the pump-room "Mushroom", who wants to get themselves Morshyn water. There are a large number of antique-themed sculptures throughout the park.
