Flight from Moscow
The fastest flight to Sharm El Sheikh Airport from Moscow is offered by Turkish Airlines. It lasts 6 hours 55 minutes. The cost of the flight is about 14,000 rubles. The planes take off from Vnukovo and make one 1-hour connection in Istanbul. Night flight - tourists leave Moscow at 20:50, and arrive in Sharm el-Sheikh at 2:45 am. Accordingly, you should take care of the transfer to the hotel in advance, because public transport does not run at this time.
For 9,500 rubles, a flight from Vnukovo to Sharm el-Sheikh is possible, which takes more than two days, so it is not suitable for travelers of the age or those who fly with small children. Active tourists who are not used to sitting in one place will be pleased with this option of the way to Sharm el-Sheikh, because they have two stops - in Budapest and Brussels, and both connections are daytime. There is no direct flight from Ovda to Sharm el-Sheikh. All offered flight options are very expensive and time consuming. Therefore, tourists prefer to get from Israel to Sharm by buses. The journey takes approximately 8 hours, with 2 hours at the border.
Drive from Hurghada
Another way to get to your favorite Egyptian resort is to go through Hurghada. Turkish Airlines offers a flight to Hurghada from Moscow's Vnukovo airport for the same 13,000 rubles. Tourists also gain nothing in time: the flight is carried out with a short connection in Istanbul and takes about 7 hours. The flight option to Hurghada is worth choosing if you want to stay at this most popular Egyptian resort for a while, and then go for a walk to Sharm el-Sheikh. There are several ways to get to Sharm from Hurghada:
- by plane. Flights between the two popular Egyptian resorts are provided by the Egyptair carrier. The flight takes only 35 minutes and costs about 6,000 rubles.
- by bus. There is no direct route between Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. First you need to get to Cairo, and only then to Sharm. Comfortable buses run often - in 1-2 hours. Tickets are always on sale. Therefore, you do not need to worry about their availability in advance. The journey takes about 12 hours. The car is not a luxury
If you are arriving in Cairo or Hurghada, you can also get to Sharm el-Sheikh by a rented car. Many rental offices have been opened in the country, including those with European names. It is their services that are recommended to be used by residents of the countries of the Old World and Russian travelers, so as not to tempt the fate that appears in the form of local businessmen who are not too concerned about compliance with the rules and laws.
The driving style of Egyptian motorists does not always correspond to the ideas of a European, and it is not safe to rent a car in big cities, and especially in the capital. Therefore, getting to Sharm el-Sheikh from Cairo by car is not the best option for a comfortable trip.
