Description of the attraction
Aquapark "Waterland" is one of the main attractions of Kazanlak. After opening in 2006, it is unmatched in the Balkans in terms of its size and the number of various attractions, annually attracting a large number of local residents, as well as city guests and tourists from all over Bulgaria.
The water complex was built on the site of an old beach, in the immediate vicinity of mineral springs, therefore all the water in the pools is mineral. The total area of the park is about two thousand meters. There are five large swimming pools on the territory. Most of them are 1.6 meters deep and 50 meters long. The largest one, with artificial waves of a meter height, occupies 1600 sq. meters. For younger visitors, there is a swimming pool with compartments 50 and 20 centimeters deep.
Fans of extreme relaxation can ride from high water slides of open and closed type. There are both almost straight and strongly curved descents. In the children's part of the park there is a small slide, shaped like an octopus with long tentacles.
The complex is located in the open air, so guests can sunbathe in the specially designated beach areas. Those wishing to relax can visit the jacuzzi (capacity - 10 people) and massage room. There are two bars and a restaurant on the territory of the water park, and a disco in the evenings.
