Description of the attraction

Famous for its tranquility and beautiful scenery, the village of Cirali is located on the Mediterranean coast, not far from the famous Turkish resort of Kemer. In this quiet and sunny place, you can completely dissolve in a calm atmosphere, take a break from the bustle of resorts, noisy hotels and tall concrete structures.

The village actually consists of two streets, one of which consists of coastal cafes and small shops, and the second of hotels scattered among private boarding houses and houses. The territory of the village is considered a nature reserve and it is forbidden to build large hotels here.

Despite the modest size of the village, the infrastructure is quite well developed, there are many decent restaurants with tempting menus and cozy bars offering local cuisine. It is worth trying fried vegetables prepared by skilled chefs from nearby greenhouses, delicious bread in the form of huge air-inflated flat cakes and fresh fish. With the onset of darkness, torches are lit in restaurants, and leisurely conversations are illuminated by the moon rising over the sea.

The village of Cirali is famous for its magnificent ivory beach, stretching for a distance of three kilometers. True, if you look closely at the pebbles on the shore, you can find any colors and shades among them: emerald green, pale yellow, purple, blue, white and even black. You can bask in the warm rays of the gentle sun on the shore by nestling directly on the pebbles or using wooden loungers and wicker umbrellas. There are also nice restaurants and cafes on the shore. From March to November, the sea is very clean and calm with deep blue water. The sea water temperature in May-June is about 18 ° С, in July-September - 26-28 ° С, in October-November - 22-24 ° С. Families with children should be very careful, as the sea becomes quite deep already five meters from the shore. The seabed is a mixture of rocks and sand.

The local beach is protected by the World Wildlife Fund and is an ecologically clean place. That is why the giant Caretta turtles come here every year in June and July from northwest Africa. They lay eggs here and after 6-8 weeks they swim away with small children.

The bay of the village of Cirali is surrounded on all sides by iron-containing mountains, which gives them a reddish hue. Majestic pine trees seem to surround the village from all sides, and right in the middle of the village there are orange, lemon and sandalwood trees, in some places there is even a pomegranate. Such an abundance of vegetation pleases with its aroma and makes it possible to hide in the shade on hot summer days. Local pets - chickens, ducks, sheep - are very friendly and are not at all afraid of people. You will enjoy watching their lives.

Not far from Cirali beach, you can visit the ruins of the ancient city of Olympos. There are ancient temple complexes, dwellings of noble people, and on the top of the mountain there are the ruins of the Pirate Fortress.
