Plaka is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island of Naxos. It is located on the west coast of the island about 8-9 km from the city of Naxos (the administrative center of the island).
Plaka Beach is one of the largest beaches in Naxos, with a length of over 4 km. Only a small part of the beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. In this part you will also find some excellent beach bars and taverns. In the vicinity of the beach, there is a fairly good selection of accommodation - cozy hotels, comfortable apartments and rooms for rent.
Fans of active recreation will be able to practice various types of water sports (windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing, etc.), as well as play beach volleyball. All necessary equipment can be rented. If necessary, you can also use the services of professional instructors.
Plaka Beach is especially popular with nudists (especially its southern part).
