The waterfalls of Russia are scattered throughout the numerous corners of our homeland, which is rich in sights. The place of their concentration is the Krasnodar Territory, Adygea, the Far East, Kamchatka.
Agursky waterfalls
For those who went on an excursion to the Agursky waterfalls, the most interesting is the Lower waterfall, which consists of the upper and lower cascades (total height is about 30 m). Here, if you wish, you can swim in a small lake (its water is cold and clean, with the exception of the rainy season, when it becomes cloudy). The other two waterfalls are 21 and 23 meters high - admiring them can make a strong impression on travelers (it is best to visit the waterfalls in spring).
As for the snack, you will be able to carry out your plans in the barbecue (homemade wine is served with the treats).
Talnikovy waterfall
It is a cascading 15-step waterfall (height - more than 600 m) and “exists” for 1-2 months (it is formed by a seasonal stream from the table mountain). In summer, the protected area can be reached by river transport, and in winter - by snowmobile.
Kinzelyuk waterfall
An excursion to the waterfall, with a total height of more than 300 m (it “operates” all year round), belongs to the category of “extreme tourism”: this is due to the fact that the surrounding area is difficult to access. Tourists will have to travel by road and water transport, after which they will have a difficult walking path, during which they will be able to admire the beauty of the pristine nature.
Benev waterfalls
They are about 10 waterfalls, 1-5 m high, but tourists are interested in the main, 20-meter waterfall (it is called the Star of Primorye). Those who wish will be able to admire it from a height, provided that they climb up a steep cliff about 30 m. It is worth noting that the section of the Kievka River (located below the waterfalls) is also of interest to tourists - it is ideal for rafting.
Pshad waterfalls
The location of eight of them is Krasnaya Rechka, and the rest are the mouths of the tributaries of the Pshada. Tourists are interested in the Olyapkin waterfall (its waterslide reaches a height of 9 m) and a 7-meter waterfall on the Vinogradny Brook. To explore most of the waterfalls, including the smallest one (1 m), it is recommended to go on a hike for a few days (locals will help organize a jeep excursion). Those who set out on a hiking route will be able to easily overcome obstacles thanks to the lifts equipped with cables.
