Do you plan to climb the Stockholm viewpoints? The capital of Sweden offers to admire the lakes and hills from above, the green parks of Djurgården, the business districts of Norrmalm, the gray roofs of Gamla Stan …

Kaknastornet TV Tower

At the top of the tower, at a height of 155 meters, there is one of the best observation platforms, and the views of the city and the islands of the Stockholm archipelago that open from there can make an indelible impression on visitors. It is worth noting that a tourist office "Kaknas" is open here, where you can get information on issues of interest, get a card, souvenirs, a Stockholm Card, and book an excursion.

Useful information: ticket prices: 55 CZK / adults, 35 CZK / seniors, 20 CZK / 7-15 year olds (free for Stockholm Card holders); the site is open to the public until 21: 00-22: 00.

How to get there? Tourists will be taken to the tower by bus 69 (address: MörkaKroken 28-30; website: www.kaknastornet.se).

City hall

Here you can visit the Golden Hall (the floor and walls are decorated with golden mosaics) and the Blue Hall, taste Swedish cuisine in the “Town Hall Cellar”, as well as climb the observation deck at a height of 106 meters (available only on a guided group tour). Ticket price - 60 CZK / adults, 30 CZK / 12-18 years old children.

Observation deck Katarina Hiss

The 38 m high platform for viewing the landscapes of the Old Town and the adjacent water area can be climbed on foot along a winding staircase or on a lift (adults - 50 CZK, children under 15 - 20 CZK). It is also recommended to visit the Gondola restaurant here.

How to get there? By buses No. 53, 43, 76, 3, 2 or from the Slussen metro station (address: Stadtgarten, 6)

Globe Arena

This place of interest is visited not only for the concerts and sports competitions taking place here, but also for a ride on the Sky View “attraction”. It is worth noting that the glass gondola lifts guests to a height of 130 meters (it moves along the wall of the Globe Arena), so you can admire Stockholm and its islands. Useful information: a 20-minute ride for adults costs CZK 145, and for seniors and children under 12 - CZK 100; you can ride the "attraction" on weekdays until 18:00, and on weekends - until 16:00.

Excursions

Guests of the Swedish capital who are not afraid of heights and are not indifferent to unusual adventures are recommended to go on the excursion “Walk on the Roofs of Stockholm”. It is organized by the Upplevmer company (the duration of the excursion is about 1.5 hours; the cost is 595 kroons; children must be over 1.5 m).
