Description of the attraction
Mini Siam is a miniature park located on Sukhumvit Road near Pattaya Hospital. Several 1:25 scale replicas of local landmarks were installed on a large fenced plot of land in 1986. The collection was gradually replenished. Walking paths were laid between replicas of temples, palaces, bridges and towers, and flowerbeds of lush green grass and miniature bonsai trees were laid out.
Now the territory of the Mini-Siam park is divided into two parts. One contains copies of the sights of Thailand and neighboring Asian countries. Here you can see a thumbnail image of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok or the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia. The second part of the park is reserved for the most outstanding buildings of the rest of the world, although it is called Mini-Europe. In addition to famous European attractions (London Tower Bridge, Roman Colosseum, Paris Arc de Triomphe), there are copies of the Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty, the Cheops pyramid and many other iconic monuments. The creators of the Mini-Siam park have not forgotten about Russian sights. Attentive guests will surely find replicas of St. Basil's Cathedral and the famous Volgograd monument erected in honor of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
All layouts are created with amazing precision. Some have moving parts. For example, a company of visitors always gathers at a replica of Bangkok airport, watching the endless movement of miniature airplanes.
Locals recommend coming to Mini Siam at dusk, when they turn on the beautiful lighting in the park.
