This is one of the oldest natural parks in Spain and the oldest park in the territory of Aragon - its opening, according to a royal decree, took place on August 16, 1918. Undoubtedly, the main advantage of the park is its nature, striking in its beauty. Here you will see turbulent mountain rivers, deep picturesque canyons and gorges, and sheer cliffs, which are simply breathtaking to look at, and the purest waterfalls of incredible beauty.

The park of Ordesa y Monte Perdido amazes with the richness of its flora and fauna. The flora of the park is represented by 1400 species of various plants, which make up 45% of the entire vegetation of the Pyrenees mountains. Many representatives of the flora are rare endangered specimens. In addition, the park is home to many species of animals, birds, as well as reptiles and fish belonging to the Mediterranean and continental Europe. Many species are also rare.
