Description of the attraction

The Jurong Bird Park is located on the slope of the hill of the same name, quite far from the city center, but it is a visited and popular place, especially loved by children. In terms of size, it is the largest Asian park, and one of the largest in the world. The population of this kingdom of birds exceeds five thousand. Of the 380 species of birds living in it, about 30 are rare and endangered species.

The date of birth of the park is 1971, the conditions for keeping birds are as close as possible to natural ones. Recognized as one of the best nature reserves on the planet, the park is divided into certain zones, each with its own microclimate.

The world of darkness is the home of night birds that are active at this time of day. A special lighting system gives them the illusion of night time. This deception prompts nocturnal birds to be active during the day and sleep at night.

The zone of the Southeast region of Asia is 260 species of birds that live freely in their native environment, that is, in the jungle, with their tropical showers, thunderstorms and appropriate humidity.

The penguin coast is an arctic climate created by special air conditioners on an area of 1600 square meters and more than 20 meters in height. About 200 penguins, exotic for Asia, feel great among artificial cliffs, ponds and stones.

Lori Loft is the name of the pavilion, where over a thousand parrots of one hundred and ten species live. More than half of them breed in the park itself. The net, stretched at the height of a nine-story building, gives them complete freedom of air movement.

Toucans share an aviary with hornbills and represent almost a complete collection of species from South America and Asia. Two hectares are occupied by a pavilion with a waterfall - an artificial stream of water falling from a 30-meter mark. There is also a river bay, pelican bay, swan lake and other areas that make the bird park a unique must-see place. Those who do not like walking can use the tram, which makes stops in each thematic area.
