Description of the attraction

The Bird Park, located in Lake Park, is considered the largest aviation on the planet. Eight hectares of its area are reserved only for birds. Unlike regular zoos, almost all birds are kept without cages. Their freedom and flight height are limited only by safety nets.

The concept of "free flight", in addition to the natural environment created by human hands, eliminates the differences between the living conditions of birds in the habitat and in the park. The success of the project lies in the complete adaptation of birds to aviation. The construction of nests, with the subsequent laying and incubation of eggs, taking care of the emerging chicks is the best proof of this. All visitors are amazed that the birds feel absolutely calm in the presence of tourists, and live their own lives, moving, often, right under the feet of the tourists.

Natural reproduction made it possible to create a scientific institution at the bird park for the preservation of rare and endangered bird species. Since 2002, there has been significant progress in this activity. Among the participants in the breeding program are silver pheasants, emus, sun arata, African gray parrots, red lorises, Malay beaks and other rare species.

Since its foundation in 1991, the park has collected over two thousand birds. Many of them have become gifts from foreign states and individuals.

The park consists of four sectors. The first two are inhabited by over 60 species of birds. The first also houses an artificial pond with pelicans and flamingos. The third sector is given to the beloved Malaysian hornbirds. In the same zone there are birds of prey, but their freedom is limited, albeit large, but cells. The fourth zone is the world of parrots, the most popular exotic birds on all continents. In addition to them - the birds of the East, with their paradise colors of plumage.

Every year, about 200 thousand residents and guests of the country become visitors to the bird park. This famous attraction attracts adults and children, ordinary people and VIPs such as Bill Clinton, the former President of the United States. Beautiful vegetation, an artificial 30-meter waterfall with lagoons for waterfowl, performances with the participation of feathered artists make the bird park a must-see.
