Description of the attraction
The fairytale land of mummy trolls is located on a small island near the town of Naantali, 16 km from Turku. In this magical place, you will see the house of a cheerful family, the yellow house of Hemul, the ice house of Morra, the Hatiffnath cave, and on the pier you can meet a huge pink dragon.
In the very center of the valley there is a round blue tower - this is the house in which the heroes of the books of Tove Jansson live. All interior items of a multi-storey dwelling are designed for the growth of a ten-year-old child. In the rooms of Moomin-Papa, Moomin-Mom, the kitchen, living room and Moomin's room, there are many different things available to visitors: a typewriter, a chest of drawers with hats and walking sticks, a hammock, beds, chairs where you can rest. Everything here is provided for to the smallest detail - from books on shelves to dishes and dummies of various products in the kitchen.
At the entrance to the fairytale house, guests are greeted by the fairytale heroes of the mummy-dol, arranging games and communicating with children. From the house, the path leads to the Snusmumrik parking lot, where there is a tarpaulin tent, from which the sounds of a harmonica, a bench are heard, and a kettle is warming up over a made fire.
Moomin-Papa's double-decked ship is moored at the pier, on the deck of which you can swing in a hammock or climb rope ladders and ropes, as well as see floating fish in the window.
Nearby is the yellow house of Hemul, which contains a collection of butterflies, herbaria, microscopes, books and other objects.
Walking through the forest labyrinth, you will encounter a large pink dragon, Morra's ice house and enter the Hatiffnath cave. And on the beach, equipped for children in the restaurant "Moomin-Mama's Kitchen", you will be offered delicious pancakes with raspberry jam.
The land of mummy trolls only accepts guests in the summer, because in winter they hibernate. However, during the school winter break, this fabulous place works.
