The situation on the beaches of the city completely changes in September. With the beginning of the velvet season, the number of vacationers decreases, there are people on the beaches, but there are not so many of them. The beach season in Barcelona lasts until mid-October. In late September and early October, storms with rains can hit the coast. But the water remains warm enough: its temperature is 22 degrees. By November, the sea cools down to 18 degrees.

Almost 5 km of coastline is allocated for the beaches in Barcelona. There are many beaches here, they all have their own name. They are united by the presence of sun loungers, toilets, chiringuito beach restaurants, showers, etc. But some of them have their own characteristics.
Some of the most popular beaches in Barcelona include:

If a person has never dived, but wants to learn, he has a direct road to one of the local diving centers. In Barcelona, you can rent a yacht with or without a crew and captain, if the client is confident in his abilities and wants to go sailing. A yacht with staff can follow a certain course to a town or simply go along the coast, making stops in especially picturesque places.
