Choosing wings
The easiest way is to buy a ticket to board your native Aeroflot and get to Bucharest in just three hours of clean time. But the cost of a direct flight on the wings of a Russian airline is unlikely to be below 200 euros, and therefore it is worth paying attention to flights with connections:
- A neighbor of Russia and Romania, Moldova offers to use the services of its airline. A ticket to board an aircraft belonging to Air Moldova will cost 170 euros in the normal mode, and 100 euros or even less during the discount period. In the sky, without taking into account the transfer, you will have to spend the same three hours.
- The Dutch carrier KLM sells plane tickets from Moscow to Bucharest no more expensive than Moldovan airlines. Taking into account the transfer in Amsterdam, you will reach the Romanian capital in about seven hours.
- Lufthansa and Swiss also fly to Bucharest from Moscow with connections in their own hubs in Frankfurt and Zurich. The price of the issue is from 180 euros.

How to get to Bucharest from the airport
The international airport of the Romanian capital is located a couple of tens of kilometers from the city center, and taxi drivers and public transport will help you get to Bucharest attractions:
- In the first case, the trip will cost 10-20 euros, depending on your bargaining ability and destination address.
- Public transport is several times cheaper, and you will have to pay less than 1 euro for a bus ticket for the routes 780 and 783 you need. Tickets are sold right at the bus stop. Buses take passengers to the Bucharest Central Station area in about 40 minutes.
- The third way to get to the city is by train from the airport to the station. Shuttles operating from 6 am to 11 pm will help you to get to its stop. Information and ticket sales are available at the CFR counter. The fare is about 2 euros.
To Romania by train
By rail, you can get to the capital of Bucharest from the Russian one by two trains. The first one departs daily from the Kievsky railway station of the capital and is called "fast train 023M Moscow - Odessa". On the way in the city of Vinnitsa, you will have to change to a train to Bucharest, but it is important to keep in mind that it departs only on Fridays. The cheapest ticket from Moscow to Bucharest will cost about 80 euros. The trains will have to spend about 40 hours.
The second option: trains Moscow - Chisinau and Chisinau - Bucharest. On the first route, the station you need is the Moldovan city of Ungent, where you need to change trains. You can go to Chisinau and change trains there, but it will take much more time. The total ticket price will be about the same 80 euros. Net travel time is about 38 hours.

To Romania by bus
A tourist trip Moscow - Bucharest by bus will take a lot of time, because only one way one way will take about 40 hours.
