Any tourist going to the Black Sea coast dreams of beautiful beaches, clear water, amazing natural landscapes. But the second condition for recreation, in his opinion, should be proximity to civilization, the opportunity to get acquainted with ancient architecture, visit museums, and take part in cultural projects of an international scale. Dzhemete or Anapa - who will win the fight for a tourist?

What are the similarities and differences between the two resorts located almost within walking distance? Even 10 years ago, only select tourists knew about Dzhemet, who were conquered by the silence and purity of local beaches. Now the village has become a part of Anapa, has many hotels and guest houses, is positioned as a resort for families.

Dzhemete or Anapa - whose beaches are cleaner?

Anapa

Compared to the Anapa beaches, the Dzhemete beaches significantly benefit, they are cleaner, free, covered with sand dunes, which close the coast from the wind, making the rest very cozy and comfortable. The descent into the water is gentle, the transition to the depth is smooth, so the place is ideal for relaxing with young tourists. The central beach has a well-developed social infrastructure, there are sun loungers, showers, and attractions.

The beaches of Anapa are incomparably longer, almost 50 kilometers, and most of them are sandy, if you wish, you can find pebble or rocky. The beaches are divided into public and departmental, belonging to sanatoriums and boarding houses, the division can be called conditional, since there are no fences between them. The beaches are quite crowded, sometimes tourists have complaints about the cleanliness of the coast and water. Knowledgeable tourists go farther from the center, where beach areas are not so "populated" by vacationers.

Souvenirs

In Dzhemete, souvenir products on the marine theme prevail: gifts of nature - shells, painted pebbles; handmade souvenirs - magnets, etc. Local craftsmen make interesting things from glass, ceramics, wood. The nearby Utrishsky reserve is a "supplier" of juniper, from which original souvenirs are also obtained. Traditional food gifts - honey figs, spices, nuts.

The most popular tourist product in Anapa is mud, which is mined in the Vityazevsky estuary. You can buy jars with miraculous mud in pharmacies, shops, souvenir shops. Food souvenirs from this resort are similar to those taken in Dzhemete - chestnut honey, nuts, famous Crimean wines, special chic - wine in glass bottles of an unusual shape (in the form of an octopus or a woman's shoe).

Entertainment and excursions

The main entertainment in Dzhemete was prepared by nature; in the vicinity of the village you can find several springs with mineral water, there are pump rooms. They also use healing mud, which is mined on the Chembursky Lake, in quality it is close to the mud of the famous Dead Sea. If vacationers in the village want civilization and urban entertainment, then Anapa is very close. In addition to this large resort, you can visit the hero city of Novorossiysk, Lermontovskaya Taman.

Anapa cannot please with historical sights or architectural masterpieces, but it can amuse and surprise. The most popular entertainment at the resort in the evening is the promenade along the long embankment, in some places a two-tiered one, going down to the sea itself. Symbolic funny sculptures are installed along it, and at the end the guests find themselves on the observation deck, where it is good to take “selfies” against the backdrop of the beautiful Caucasus mountains and endless sea spaces.

Immersion in the ancient history of the settlement awaits tourists in the Archaeological Museum, operating on the territory of the Gorgippia reserve, and in the Museum of Local Lore. Another famous historical landmark of Anapa is the Russian Gate, left over from the mighty fortress erected by the Ottomans. Trips to nature are popular with guests, for example, to the Utrishsky Reserve, where the most famous dolphinarium in the region operates, excursions around Taman, the Adygea highlands, to Novorossiysk or Temryuk are good.

It is clear that the climatic conditions in Dzhemete and its large "neighbor" Anapa are the same, souvenirs are supplied mainly from China or by local craftsmen, the entertainment is similar.

But a comparison of the two resorts still allows you to see the difference, so the village of Dzhemete is suitable for recreation for those tourists who:

  • want peace and quiet;
  • love a secluded vacation on the coast;
  • are going to relax with the kids;
  • love natural attractions.

Anapa is chosen by travelers who:

  • would like to be at the center of beach and cultural life;
  • love tourist shopping;
  • love dolphins and would like to swim with them;
  • are going to take a good look at the ruins of ancient Gorgippia.
