Yes, it is very difficult to break away from the white sand of the beaches, the azure ocean of the best resort in the United States, choosing instead to walk in Miami. And only with the onset of evening, many tourists do it with great pleasure, especially since the resort has something to be proud of and something to demonstrate to the guests of the city.

Walking Miami by Night

The center of Miami's nightlife is the Art Deco district. It is located in the southern part of the city and consists of many small, cute buildings that date back to 1920-1930. They were built in the Art Nouveau style, which gained the greatest popularity at the beginning of the last century.

In this quarter you can find chic restaurants and democratic cafes, expensive boutiques and shops. But the main attraction, the place of meeting and parting is Ocean Drive, the name of the embankment, though not too euphonious for a Slavic ear, but there is enough pleasure and entertainment in abundance.

The most interesting places in the city

In addition to Ocean Drive, Miami has many other establishments and places of interest to adult tourists and young travelers. The last most joyful moments await in the following parks in Miami:

  • "Jungle of Parrots" - a beautiful park with its own lakes, waterfalls and a huge number of avifauna representatives, including parrots;
  • "Jungle of Monkeys" - a nature reserve that demonstrates the life of these amazing animals in natural conditions;
  • "Lion Country" - a park that reproduces South African landscapes to demonstrate the formidable inhabitants of the African savannah, lions. In addition to these strong and beautiful predators, in the zoo you can see other outstanding representatives of the fauna of the Black Continent, including giraffes, zebras, elephants and, of course, monkeys.

Walking the Miami Neighborhood

Even more entertainment for all tastes is offered to guests and indigenous people outside the city, including the Everglades, a national park that introduces the flora and fauna of the subtropics.

From Miami, tourists can take a trip to the world famous Cape Canaveral, where the US Space Center is located, sending ships into the heavens. Not to take off, but on the contrary, to descend into the sea abyss is offered in the first underwater park in the country. In addition to incomparable seascapes and unique landscapes, guests of the park have the opportunity to see a three-meter sculpture of Jesus Christ, made of bronze. The same sculpture rests at the bottom of the sea in the vicinity of the Italian city of Genoa.
