Description of the attraction

Matobo National Park is one of the largest recreation parks in Zimbabwe, located 32 km from Bulawayo and consisting of fantastic rock formations, caves with rock carvings, picturesque dams where you can catch perch and bream, a park with 20 species of animals and comfortable camping on 100 places with a view of the Maleme Dam, where there are also camping and caravan sites. The park is rich in a variety of bird species, including a large population of black eagles. Here you can find whole groups of baboons and monkeys, as well as other animals: saber antelope, base antelope, white rhino, wildebeest and zebra. The Malindijimu Hill went down in legends as a place where good spirits live, local tribes call it "a place from where the whole world can be seen", and the ashes of Cecil John Rhodes also rest here.
