The Tropical Zoo in Randers is one of the unique zoos in Denmark, where representatives of fauna and flora from different countries and continents are gathered. The zoo is located near the city center. The total area of the domed rooms in the park is 3600 sq.

The official opening of the two pavilions of the Tropical Zoo took place on June 13, 1996. In 2003, the South African Pavilion was opened to the public, and in 2005, the Marine Aquarium.

Today it is one of the most popular and visited zoos in Denmark. There are more than 200 representatives of the fauna of different continents and more than 350 plant species in it. In the zoo, you can get acquainted with various species of birds, mammals, reptiles, insects that were brought from Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, Australia. Also on the territory of the park is the terrarium "Garden of the Serpent" and the hull of a sunken frigate of the 18th century, which houses an aquarium with tropical fish.

On the territory of the Tropical Zoo there is a cafe where you can taste excellent local cuisine, pastries, tea, coffee, soft drinks. Souvenir shops also attract tourists' attention with their abundance of magnets, soft toys, calendars, postcards, lighters with zoo attributes. There is a playground on the territory of the park, where children can get acquainted with its friendly inhabitants.

Today the Tropical Zoo is one of the largest cultural and recreational recreation centers in Northern Europe. Every year the park is visited by a large number of tourists from all over the world.
