In the western part of the Aegean Sea lies the picturesque island of Skopelos - one of the greenest and most beautiful islands in Greece. Its fabulous beaches are renowned for their beautiful landscapes and crystal clear waters.
One of the most popular beaches on the southern coast of Skopelos is Panormos. It is located in a picturesque bay, well sheltered from the wind, about 12 km from the town of Skopelos (also known as Chora). Panormos is a magnificent pebble beach, 500 m long and about 30 m wide. Like many Greek beaches, Panormos is the holder of the "blue flag of UNESCO".
The name "Panormos" is also a small resort village located just behind the beach. Here you will find an excellent selection of excellent hotels and cozy apartments where you can comfortably stay. Local restaurants and taverns, most of which are concentrated on the beach, will delight you with their excellent Greek cuisine.
Panormos beach is very well equipped. If necessary, you can rent sun loungers and sun umbrellas at reasonable prices. Here you will also have the opportunity to practice various water sports and rent a motor boat or speedboat to enjoy the picturesque scenery and explore the coastline.
Magnificent natural landscapes, crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea and excellent infrastructure have made Panormos very popular. As a result, it is always crowded here in summer, and if you prefer a more peaceful and secluded vacation, perhaps you should look for another, more secluded place, which you will find abound on the island.
