Description of the attraction

Skyscraper Wisma 46 was considered the tallest building in Indonesia at the time of its construction (1996). The skyscraper is located in the Kota BNI-Maybank complex, Central Jakarta, it is a kind of business center.

The skyscraper has 48 floors, the height of the building is about 230 meters, and with the antenna - about 262 meters. All 23 elevators serving the building can reach speeds of up to six meters per second. This skyscraper is ranked 184th among the tallest buildings in the world.

The architectural style of the high-rise building is modern and postmodern. The design of the blue and white skyscraper is quite unusual - a concrete tower in the shape of a cube, and from the inside, from its base, a glass tower rises. The top of the tower is crowned with a curved spire. The building was designed by the well-known architectural company Zeidler Partnership Architects, which was the author of the constructed buildings in many countries of the world, including the famous complexes Canada Place in Vancouver and Media Park in Cologne - beautiful modern quarters, on the territory of which are concentrated media offices, cinemas, studios TV channels.

The Wisma 46 building houses offices of large companies, representative offices of the world's leading banks, a clinic, restaurants and shops. In restaurants you can taste both Indonesian cuisine (nasi goreng or sate) and European. In the shops, along with the European products familiar to visitors, there are also Indonesian souvenirs and clothes. Also in the skyscraper is the Jakarta International Club. There is a car park on two underground floors. A stunning view of Jakarta opens from the windows of the skyscraper.
