Description of the attraction
The Seaside Park, created at the end of the 19th century by the Czech park architect Anton Novak, is located on the seaside near the center of Varna and is a wonderful piece of paradise where you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the modern city. Its territory occupies about 80 hectares.
The seaside park attracts visitors with alleys stretching along the entire coastline, unique varieties of trees and flowers, and a large number of monuments. Today it houses a variety of museum complexes, a dolphinarium, a terrarium, a zoo, the Palace of Culture and Sports, fountains, water slides and, of course, a beautiful beach. Here, visitors can visit the first Bulgarian planetarium. Next to it is a tower, which houses the Foucault pendulum, a device used to demonstrate the daily rotation of our planet. Hungry visitors can go to the local cafe, which has a cozy atmosphere, excellent cuisine and quite affordable prices.
Also, the Seaside Park is a great place for walking with children. The local children's corner is located very close to the Summer Theater and offers its guests (both the smallest and older children) a variety of entertainment options.
