This museum is located in Simferopol, in the Crimea it is the only one. It presents an original, original exposition "The history of chocolate from chocolate". The history of chocolate cost local pastry chefs 1,500 kilograms of this sweet substance. This is exactly how much it took to recreate the whole long history of this delicacy in chocolate. All items in the museum are handmade, there is no second such copy.
The history of chocolate begins with the cocoa tree, which is on display. Here, next to it, there are figures depicting Indians, it was they who first tasted this sweet product. Prominent people of history who preferred chocolate to other products can also be seen in the museum. Of course, all the figurines are chocolate.
All items in the museum are made of chocolate: landscapes, portraits, still lifes. Masters dream of creating in the future a chocolate maker with a height of human height. Today, the Eiffel Tower made of chocolate has become the pride of the museum. It even took the help of a mathematician to recreate this complex structure in chocolate.
In the museum, you can walk through the exposition, see everything, but touching or eating a piece is strictly prohibited. The lifespan of chocolate exhibits, according to confectioners, is about five years. During this time, their appearance will not deteriorate, the quality of the product will not be lost. In order for chocolate products to be stored for a long time, it is necessary to remove dust every day and maintain a strictly defined temperature in the room - these conditions are mandatory. You can visit the exhibition any day from ten to twenty hours.
