Description of the attraction

The gallery of Russian ice sculpture is located on the territory of the Krasnaya Presnya park, which is located in the center of Moscow's business and cultural life on ul. Mantulinskaya. The gallery area is 450 sq. meters. It maintains a certain temperature all year round (minus 10 degrees Celsius) with the help of a unique technology. The gallery's exhibits are ice sculptures. The exposition is complemented by light and musical accompaniment, which was carried out by a group of specialists - the creators of the singing fountains of Moscow.

The gallery was created by twelve of the best sculptors in Russia, who won ice sculpture competitions held in Russia and abroad. The project has no analogues in our country and in the world.

To create the museum, more than 90 tons of the purest ice, grown from spring water, were used. Famous theater decorators and designers of Moscow took part in the design of the Ice Gallery exposition. The gallery's exposition is constantly updated.

The themes of the works made of ice presented in the gallery are varied and based on samples of the national culture of Russia. The gallery reproduces fragments of the famous Ice House of Tsarina Anna Ioannovna, actually built for the entertainment of the royal court in the 18th century. Sculptures of the characters of the fairy tales of Ershov and Pushkin, and the heroes of Krylov's fables were created. This attracts a wide range of spectators, local and foreign tourists, and also makes the exhibition exciting for visitors of all ages.

Visitors are offered an excursion "Journey to the Ice Tale". The gallery hosts master - classes on creating ice sculptures, the duration of which is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

It is allowed to take photos and videos in the Ice Gallery. Visitors are given warm clothes. To services of visitors there is a cafe and a bar.

The Ice Gallery takes part in the annual Ice Sculpture Festival and the Easter Egg Festival.
