Description of the attraction
Bodrum Waterpark, formerly known as Dedeman, is one of the best family vacation spots in Turkey. Children and adults will be happy to spend the whole day here and get an unforgettable experience of all kinds of entertainment. There is a whole complex of artificial lakes and pools in the park. The largest water park in the country has a huge variety of slides and exciting rides for different age groups. The size of the complex is impressive - its area is about 40 thousand square meters, which allows it to occupy the second place in scale in Europe.
The water park opened in 1993 and is the first water park in Turkey. On the territory of the complex there are 24 water slides with various effects, numerous lakes and a river with artificial waves, the length of which exceeds 350 meters. Pools and jacuzzis, grottoes and artificial waterfalls will give you an unforgettable experience and good mood for the whole year. A large number of sun loungers, awnings and umbrellas will not let you get sunburn and will allow you to relax in between swimming.
There are three restaurants, several fast foods and a bar on the central square of the water park, so you won't have any problems with having a good meal after such an active pastime. In addition, here you can get an original tattoo or photographs, visit a shop with beach accessories and take a shower. The complex also includes a two-story car park, numerous changing rooms and safes for personal belongings.
Parents can relax a little by entrusting their children to a group of animators, and in the evening, concerts and discos are held in the park.
One of the public's favorite water attractions is called Kamikaze. It is a slide with an incline of 80 degrees and gives vacationers a feeling of free flight. Another equally popular attraction is the Black Hole. It is a large trumpet with special sound and light effects. The huge pipe, through which the raft with four passengers passes, is also very popular with thrill-seekers. On the territory of the water park there is also a pool with waves, spiral channels two to three meters wide, along which you can raft on inflatable boats.
The water park is located on the outskirts of Bodrum city, on the main road, opposite the Metro supermarket. It is quite easy to get here even by public transport. You should definitely set aside a whole day for a trip to the water park. Here you will find entertainment for both children and adults, and the elderly will also find something to do here and enjoy an unusual holiday.
