The history of the Cadbury chocolate company began in 1824 in England. The company grew and developed rapidly, expanded its assortment and conquered new markets. Almost a hundred years after its founding, in 1922, the first branch of the company was opened in Australia. For the construction of the factory, the site of Claremont was chosen near the capital of Tasmania, Hobart. The choice was not accidental - it was Tasmania that could provide the required amount of high quality fresh milk for the production of chocolate.
Today the chocolate factory "Cadbury" is a fully automated enterprise using the most modern technologies in its work. However, the factory also retains historical "tools" - for example, chocolate-finishing machines (also known as conches) with granite rotating drums, which were installed 60 years ago and are still in operation.
Since the factory is a going concern, serious safety measures have been taken here. To get inside, you must wear closed shoes and comfortable clothing and remove all jewelry.
