The "driest" resort in Vietnam and the leader in attendance. Of course, we are talking about Nha Trang. It is true that much less rain falls here, and the weather is kept within comfortable limits all year round. Paradise beaches, treasures of ancient culture and all this under the sauce of modern hotels, clubs, shopping and entertainment complexes, tropical nature - to the inhabitants of the northern countries, Nha Trang really seems like an earthly Eden. The problem of where to stay in Nha Trang is solved by hundreds of different-colored hotels, so there is simply no problem here.
Nha Trang has all the attributes of an established European-level resort: exquisite restaurants, a well-equipped coastline, a wide range of entertainment and excursions, and the highest service. The status of an advanced travel service supports a wide range of hotels of all categories, from one to five stars. It is possible to choose accommodation for the most modest budget or, conversely, for an extremely demanding and extraordinary taste.
Country and island hotels deserve special mention. Designed mainly for family vacationers and often work on an "all inclusive" system. Such hotels are more expensive than city ones, but here it is calmer, more comfortable, and most importantly, many of them have their own private beaches, where outsiders will not bother vacationers.
Districts of Nha Trang
Tourist areas are concentrated along the coast, there are also many hotels inside the city, but there is another specificity of recreation - fans of excursion tourism, any travelers with a limited budget stay here. It is wiser to avoid sleeping areas, it is always noisy, dirty and stuffy here, although you can feel like a real aborigine of Nha Trang.
Areas for tourists:
- European quarter.
- An Vien.
- Centre.
- Cho Dam Market.
- Central Park.
- Som Moy Market.
- North.
- South Nha Trang.
European quarter
Golden Holiday
The most touristy and comfortable area for recreation, which is traditionally chosen by visitors. Prices are expected to be higher than in other parts of the resort. The district has the highest concentration of shops, hotels, restaurants of all world cuisines and types of service, shopping malls, boutiques, bars, clubs, massage parlors. From here, it is close to the central attractions of Nha Trang, and the neighboring tourist centers can be reached on foot. In the quarter itself and nearby there are supermarkets, there are also markets, day and night.
The European quarter is located on the coast, even from the most remote hotel to the beach just 10 minutes on foot. Among the objects that can be seen in the area there is the Water Puppet Theater and the Lotus Tower on the square of the same name. In general, the area is new, modern, and you shouldn't count on ancient sights.
Hotels: Golden Holiday, Summer, New Dragon, Golden rain, Hanoi Golden, Thang Long, Muong Thanh Center Chelsea, Nha Trang Lodge, Mer Perle, Nha Trang beach, Ngoc Sang, Asia paradise, Galliot, Ruby Hotel, Barcelona, Golden beach, Majestic Nha Trang, Green World, Indochina, Luxury Nha Trang, Edel, Green, Victorian Nha Trang, Galina, Liberty central, Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang, Novotel.
An Vien
ViVa Villa An Vien
A great place to stay in Nha Trang in peace and quiet. Respectable southern area with villas, expensive hotels and family-type hotels. This is a suburban village 5 kilometers from the resort, grew up on the picturesque coast. The remoteness from the polluted highways and resort excitement made An Vien the most popular place for respectable vacationers and families with children.
There are no restaurants, shops and other entertainments in the village, so people stop here for the sake of beach rest and relaxation. There are not many hotels, mostly private apartments in cottages and villas. Young people and lovers of active leisure have absolutely nothing to do here.
Hotels: ViVa Villa An Vien, An Vien Villamar, Paragon Hotel.
Nha Trang Center
Sheraton
The center is adjacent to the European Quarter and is close to it not only geographically, but also in terms of prices - they are also overstated due to their great popularity and proximity to the sea. A region of expensive hotels and sophisticated recreation areas. Stylish bars, first-class restaurants, high-end shops.
The quarter is very similar to the European one, both in infrastructure and in the absence of outstanding historical sites, with the exception of the Catholic cathedral. But most of the hotels are located on the first line, offering an enchanting view from the windows.
The disadvantages can be ranked as animation and noise, even in the middle of the night you have a chance to wake up from the signal of a car or motorbike, or even from the screams of holiday-makers on a spree. There are a lot of places to stay in Nha Trang on all three lines.
Hotels: Sheraton, Sunrise, Diamond Bay, Intercontinental, Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang, Muong Thanh Luxury.
Cho Dam Market
TTC Michelia
The center is followed by the Cho Dam market area, which is a 15-minute walk from the central resort beach. This is the largest market in all of Nha Trang, where not only townspeople and tourists flock, but also Vietnamese from other cities. This corner of the resort is relatively quiet and peaceful, if you do not settle directly at the market.
Pleased with a large number of restaurants and coffee shops, many restaurants of national cuisine and seafood. For entertainment, everyone goes to the neighboring Nha Trang Center. The main specialization of the area is beaches and leisurely evening activities. Cho Dam is home to the Yersin Museum, a local landmark, and you can have a good time in a large park with a fountain.
Hotels where to stay in Nha Trang: TTC Michelia, Bavico, Olympic, Camellia, The World Hotel.
Central park
Dendro
Twin of the European Quarter. Located in the neighborhood and considered one of the main tourist areas. The set of entertainment is the same - bars, pubs, cafeterias, coffee shops, restaurants, snack bars, shops and shops, clubs. The hotels are located across the street from the beach.
An excellent choice of where to stay in Nha Trang for a short while, so as not to run wild from the noise at night and constant revival. The area is always noisy and bustling, and this is its weak point. The rest of the quarter is quite prosperous, decent and ideal for all types of recreation.
There is a large park with lush vegetation and outdoor pools for swimming. The local section of the sandy beach is in excellent condition, clean and well maintained, complemented by the necessary infrastructure. The sea is not always calm - waves are frequent guests here.
Hotels: Dendro, Evason Ana Mandara, Cosmos, Hanoi Golden, Majestic, Regalia, Golden time, Paris, Lavender, Seaside, Victorian, Galaxy, Balcony, Golden Tulip, Ruby.
Som Moy Market
Ken Hotel
The area begins immediately behind the European Quarter, that is, away from the coast. Its main and, perhaps, its only advantage is lower prices for everything. There are a lot of cafes and catering establishments of Vietnamese orientation, the architecture is much simpler than in the tourist areas. There is not a lot of entertainment, so it is many times quieter and calmer.
The area is more sleeping, and therefore purely Vietnamese. There are noticeably fewer hotels and they are of a lower level; they settle here for a long time, for example, for the winter, or in order to save money. Som Moy, as mentioned, is remote from the sea and the beach, but not critical, the distance is easily overcome in 20 minutes on foot.
A good place to stay in Nha Trang inexpensively and in any conditions. Along with hotels, a large number of apartments and apartments are rented, you can find very cheap options. The main disadvantage is noise in the morning.
Hotels: Copac, Mimosa, Ken Hotel, Golden Tulip, Viet Sky Phuong Nhung.
North of Nha Trang
La Mer Hotel
The northern part of Nha Trang is not so lively, but it has its fans. The area is less developed in terms of infrastructure, but this is fixable. It is separated from the rest of the city by the river flowing here. The North is a rather isolated place, the transport network is not too dense, and after 6 pm it is not at all easy to leave. There are routes to the European Quarter, the Center and a couple of coastal areas.
The undoubted advantage is the local beach, less crowded, calm and clean, the sea is much calmer and even in the off-season it is more comfortable to swim.
There are fewer hotels, prices are usually lower. A large number of fish restaurants and local cuisine establishments are concentrated in the area. You can eat plenty of seafood and fresh fish or buy it with you if you rent an apartment with a kitchen. This is where the amenities end. There is little entertainment in the north and active travelers will quickly get bored here. So it's not worth moving in for a long time. There are no large shops, markets, and even more so shopping malls, they are replaced by small shops. But here are the famous Cham towers Panagar and mud baths.
Not a bad area for budget accommodation and to stay in Nha Trang for a no-frills beach holiday.
Hotels: La Mer Hotel, Calm Seas, Fairy Bay, King Town, Tri Giao, Muong Thanh Grand, Tuan Thuy, Thanh Binh 2, Fairy Bay, Nha Trang Summer Apartment.
South of Nha Trang
Paragon Villa
A respectable, refined part of Nha Trang for people tired of the hustle and bustle. The best place for quiet relaxation and lazy reclining on the beaches. Quite an expensive area where to stay in Nha Trang, but the high price pays off with excellent service and excellent accommodation conditions. In addition, the cable car leading to Winperl Island starts here.
This is the best place for families with children. The beach here is clean, beautiful, albeit a small one. Suitable for swimming even in the off-season. The water is always calm due to artificial wave barriers. The bottom is shallow and clean, great for baby splashing and play.
The resort idyll is spoiled by underdeveloped infrastructure and lack of entertainment. In the south, there are no shops or restaurants, there is practically nothing to do except swimming and sunbathing, for all kinds of leisure you will have to go to the center. This also includes the village of An Vien, built up with expensive villas.
Hotels: Paragon Villa, Maritime, An Vien Villamar, Verano Hotel, Praywish Hotel.
