How to get to Simferopol by plane
The easiest and fastest way to get to Simferopol is to buy a direct flight ticket. This service is offered by the following air carriers: VIM-Avia; Aeroflot; Red Wings Airlines; Ural Airlines; S7; Alrosa.
Departing from the Russian capital, you will find yourself in the main airport of Simferopol in 2.5 hours, which accepts international flights all year round. At the same time, the cost of tickets will pleasantly surprise you. The most democratic option will cost 6,600 rubles, and the price of an expensive ticket is 7,800 rubles. This pricing policy is possible thanks to financial support from the Russian government.
Direct flights are also carried out from St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Surgut and other large cities. Flight time and ticket price directly depend on the type of aircraft, climatic conditions, class and other objective circumstances.
Arriving in Simferopol, you can easily get to anywhere in the city by taxi or public transport. If you prefer to get around by car, it is worth renting a car. This can be done while still at the airport.
To Simferopol by train
Since December 2019, it has become possible to get to Crimea by train. Now several trains have been launched to Crimea from different cities of Russia: from Moscow and St. Petersburg, from Yekaterinburg and Kislovodsk. In the future, trains from other regions of Russia will also be launched, so that everyone who dreams of resting in Crimea can do it with maximum comfort.
- A double-decker train "Tavria" runs to Simferopol from Moscow (via Ryazan, Rossosh and Rostov-on-Don), travel time is 33 hours.
- The train St. Petersburg - Sevastopol (via Tver, Ryazan, Rossosh and Rostov-on-Don) stops in Simferopol, travel time - 40 hours.
- Train Yekaterinburg - Simferopol, following through Kazan, Penza, Saransk and Rostov-on-Don, travel time - 64 hours.
- Another flight Ekaterinburg - Simferopol, following through Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don, travel time - 67.5 hours.
- Train Kislovodsk - Simferopol, following through Essentuki, Pyatigorsk, MinVody and Krasodar, travel time - 22 hours.
But the train St. Petersburg - Evpatoria does not stop in Simferopol - it follows through Dzhankoy and Saki.

- Krasnodar or Anapa - port "Kavkaz" (bus);

All vehicles, which you will change from the track, are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable trip.
The duration of the trip can take up to two days, taking into account the waiting time at the ferry crossing and stops on the way.
By car
Car enthusiasts should try to travel to Simferopol by car. Of course, this method requires careful preparation, correct calculation of the distance between settlements and patience.
Going to Simferopol from Moscow, your goal is to start moving along the M4 "Don" highway. Separately, it should be noted that the coverage meets international standards, so you can easily reach the Krasnodar Territory along this road. If you wish, you can make a stop on the highway, since the infrastructure is quite developed here.
The most problematic section of the road is the village of Losevo in the Voronezh Region. At this point, the track narrows from three lanes to one in each direction. In summer, the traffic jam can stretch for 20-40 km.
After the Don highway, there are two options for travel to the Crimean bridge. The first is through the village of Kislyakovskaya, Timashevsk, Slavyansk-on-Kuban. There will be one difficulty - to bypass the Timashevsk railway crossing, where many kilometers of traffic jams accumulate in the summer. The second is to go along the M4 to Krasnodar, then through Abinsk, Krymsk, the village of Varenikovskaya, but the road surface here leaves much to be desired.
Crossing the bridge takes 15 minutes. Further there is a direct road to Simferopol. The construction of the Tavrida highway is underway, but so far only some of its sections have been put into operation.
