How to get to Tashkent by plane

Several planes operate direct flights from Moscow airports (Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo), landing in Tashkent in 3 hours and 50 minutes. Do not forget to check with your tour operator about the availability of tickets in advance. The cost of tickets on the Moscow-Tashkent route is from 9 to 12 thousand rubles.
From St. Petersburg to Tashkent you will get a little more than from Moscow. The minimum flight time is 4.5 hours, and the maximum is 37 hours.
As for other cities of Russia, aircraft from Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Samara run directly to Tashkent. The duration of the flight depends, first of all, on the starting point of departure, the type of aircraft, weather conditions and the number of transfers.
To Tashkent by train
Traveling by train to the Uzbek capital is suitable for those who are not afraid of long distances and are ready to spend about 4 days on the way. Several times a week trains depart from Paveletsky, Yaroslavsky and Kazansky railway stations in Moscow, the final destination of which is Tashkent.
When purchasing tickets, pay attention to trains numbered 086B, 017M, 014E, 137Y, 047Y and 132U. It is on them that you will get to Tashkent. For a ticket, you will have to pay from 7600 to 12000 rubles. However, the earlier you buy your ticket, the cheaper it will be. Find out the availability of tickets on the Russian Railways website or directly at the ticket offices of the railway stations.
Leaving St. Petersburg by train, you will definitely make a stop in Moscow and change to another train. Residents of Saratov and Ufa can get to Tashkent directly. Train 334Zh, equipped with wagons of various types, departs from Saratov. A ticket to a reserved seat costs 8,700 rubles, and a compartment ticket costs 12,600 rubles. You will spend about 2 days and 17 hours on the way. The least time is to go to Tashkent from Ufa. Train 381E will take you to your final destination in 2 days and 4 hours, which is quite acceptable.
Separately, it should be noted that Uzbek trains do not differ in comfortable conditions, therefore, before choosing this type of travel, you should think carefully about everything.
By car
Car enthusiasts prefer to travel on their own, using personal transport for this purpose. Having decided to go to Tashkent by car, tune in for a long journey. Tourists who have already tried a trip by car recommend:
- take the most necessary spare parts with you, as on some tracks you will not find specialized workshops;
- be sure to put all documents on the car;
- follow the rules of the speed limit;
- be prepared for the fact that on some sections of the road you will be charged a fee;
- crossing the border can take a day;
- carefully read the rules for crossing the Uzbek border.
The route from Moscow starts from the M4 Don highway, along which you will pass quickly enough due to the good road surface. Further, your path will run along the P-22 highway. This is one of the longest sections of the route. When you reach Tambov, you turn onto the P20-B highway. As a result, you will find yourself in Tashkent approximately 54-56 hours later.
A trip to Tashkent by car requires careful preparation and care, since on the way you will spend a significant amount of time and will cross the borders of other states.
