"Where to go on May 9 in Moscow?" - a topical issue for residents and guests of the Russian capital. Those who check the festive calendar will have time to get to the entertainment events in Moscow parks, and to all kinds of concerts, and to the fireworks timed to coincide with the Victory Day celebrations.
Where can you go in Moscow on May 9?
If you have a personalized invitation (unfortunately, you cannot buy it), you should definitely visit the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9. Those who do not have such an invitation can look at aviation (it is more convenient to observe airplanes and helicopters when they fly over Raushskaya Embankment, Tverskaya Street, Leningradsky Prospekt) and columns of military equipment on Moscow streets (you can see vehicles in motion on the section of Tverskaya Street between stations metro stations "Okhotny Ryad" and "Pushkinskaya") as part of rehearsals.
Another opportunity to see the Parade is to go to Patriarch's Ponds, Poklonnaya Gora, Teatralnaya or Triumfalnaya Square, where it will be broadcasted on large screens.
On Victory Day, you should not deprive your attention of Moscow parks (Sokolniki, Izmailovsky, Gorky, Fili, Kuzminki, Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora and others), where photo zones are usually opened, photo exhibitions dedicated to the Second World War are organized, war films are shown in the open air in summer cinemas, dance evenings and front-line games dedicated to wartime are arranged, poems are read and songs about the war are performed, brass and military bands perform, and everyone is invited to visit the field kitchen.
As for the festive fireworks, volleys of fireworks are made from different places in Moscow, the most popular of which are Vorobyovy Gory and Poklonnaya Gora.
Gorky Park and Victory Park
On May 9, in this park, everyone will have a chance to take part in the celebration of the Music of Our Victory festival, accompanied by concerts for veterans and all guests of the park (the event lasts from 11 am to 8 pm).

Stalin's bunker
The excursion program will allow everyone to descend to a depth of 65 meters and visit the meeting room, in which any sound is amplified by the existing domed vault; the chief's office, which contains maps of the 1941 defensive battles near Moscow; a dining room with an interesting exposition of the war times.
Tourists are interested in the following excursions:
- “Legends of History”: excursionists will be told about the bunker and how the staff lived and worked, shown an imitation of the launch of a nuclear missile and the explosion of a nuclear bomb through exclusive special effects, as well as a film about the Cold War. At the end of the program, a military field lunch awaits guests.
