Description of the attraction

The ostrich farm, located on the road to Krasnaya Polyana, at the entrance to the Akhshtyr canyon, is the largest and most equipped private enterprise for breeding various ostrich species in the region. There is a trout farm nearby.

Despite the fact that the Three Sophia farm is an ostrich, it also contains many different species of birds, thanks to which it has actually turned into a real mini-zoo. The spacious enclosures of the ostrich farm are home to seventeen representatives of the largest bird species on the planet - the black African ostriches, the nandu. In addition, proud and unusual birds live here - the Australian emu. Unlike their relatives, they are more fearful and cautious.

Among other exotic birds, the farm bred unique golden pheasants, magnificent Indian peacocks and a wide variety of parrots, many of which are talking. In the large pond, you can watch representatives of waterfowl. It is home to mandarin ducks, caroline ducks, majestic black and white swans, as well as very rare birds - Egyptian geese. Birds willingly communicate with visitors, so they can be hand-fed.

In addition to getting acquainted with different types of birds, you can have a great rest here. On the territory of the farm, there is a cozy cafe where you can have a snack, and on the shore of the pond there is a comfortable gazebo from which visitors watch beautiful birds. There is also a shop with various souvenirs, where everyone can buy an ostrich egg, an ostrich leather handbag or belt, feather souvenirs and much more.

Children especially like it here. They can look at amazing animals, ride a Scottish pony and take pictures with a real tame Caucasian kite that will not harm children or adults.
